Don't compare a cover version to the original. The cover version is the band's interpretation of the original version. If they just covered the original note by every single note, they might as well just have copy + pasted the original version. I like Immortal, and I think that Crionics' cover version of the iconic Blashyrkh is actually good. They did a good job. Sure it is NOT immortal, and it isn't meant to be!
Very atmospheric and moody, love it. Genius use of the keyboards and you guitar is not as muddy as Immortal's recording so we can hear more of the underlying structure of the song. Thumbs up!
