Bill Mullen's Burns Day 2025

A big day indeed. Bill Mullen, from Dundee Scotland, ran the New World Celts of Sarasota's Burns Brunch in the Motorworks Brewery in Bradenton, Florida. This involved plenty music, song, poetry, pipe band, haggis, highland dancing, Irish dancing, the Immortal memory and other excellent Burns traditions, wow - what a start to the day.
Then it was on to Dunedin Florida to perform for the Scottish American Society of Dunedin and their Burns night and whisky tasting. A great evening and great whisky tasting.
Every year since his birth 266 years ago, Scottish people, their descendants and friends around the world celebrate the birth of the Scottish National Poet, Robert Burns. Even though he was born so long ago - the celebrations have only grown in popularity.
As seen on the picture, Bill's wife Dorothy is always welcomed on stage to perform too - where would we be without the lassies-o
