I think the time stone follows different laws in the MCU than time travel. I don't think it creates any alternate timelines. Maybe it just resets the clock on a universal scale so no alternate timelines should be created. Basically time stone is a cheat time manipulation item in the MCU.
I'm not sure that's true, Hulk says something about it at the end of Endgame I believe? I think its something about the time stone being moved out of a timeline will indeed create other timelines (thus impacting the end events of Endgame) but it maybe Hulk was talking about all of the stones being moved and not just the time stone.

@@markcruz359 If you think about this may have been the first time Dormammu had ever encountered a human being Face to Face. The ancient one knew of his existence but made sure he never invaded Earth from the Dark dimension. Its possible that the evil being would not have any kind of appearance a human would comprehend so It mimics the appearance of the first human it encounters. Keep in mind this my opinion and conjecture as the MCU doesn't exactly follow Earth 616 universe in the comic books and could be completely different in the comics. ( for the most part I believe it is )
The jumps scare reactions made me laugh plus it makes sense considering the director of the movie Scott Derrickson is most known for his two horror movies before Strange, they are Sinister (2012) and Deliver us from Evil (2014), this is for me one of the most underrated mcu movies and while many dismiss it as ‘another traditional mcu origin story’ I personally think it has a lot more to offer, just a heads up regarding its sequel in case you didn’t know Scott left the project at the beginning of the year and 2 months later Sam Raimi (director of the evil dead trilogy and the original Spider-Man trilogy) was hired and the sequel is called Doctor Strange 2: the multiverse of madness
