I like cream of mushroom even though I don't use it often. I just don't use a lot of cream of soups but I grew up on cream of mushroom. I do use a lot of mushrooms though I love them. Fresh mushrooms are completely different from any sort of canned mushrooms. I sometimes will just sauteed some mushrooms and have em as a side veg. I love them
I love cream of mushroom! Especially in tuna casserole. I also like cream of chicken that last one pot meal looked delicious. I made that breaded chicken from last week, I think, that was dipped in Caesar dressing and my husband said I can make that once a week! So good!
I’ve never been a fan of mushrooms in any form but I have learned that the cream of mushroom soup doesn’t have big chunks of mushroom so I do cook with it on casseroles. When I make a big tuna casserole for a group I use one can of cream of mushroom and one can of cream of celery and one can of cheddar cheese soups. I mix them together with a little bit of Old Bay seasoning then add to my cooked noodles along with the tuna. It makes a lot and the kids take leftovers home. Oh and I always serve it with peas and sliced tomatoes on the side 😊
😊 for those that don't like cream of mushroom, I found that if I add a little milk to it in the blender and blend it up no one can tell 😂 We have a kid that doesn't like the texture of mushrooms, so I do that. They're very healthy and have a great taste, but most people don't like the texture. Maybe that can help?

If you have a blender or magic bullet, put the cream of mushroom soup in there and blitz it and no more chunks of mushrooms. My husband hates mushrooms too and I have done this when I didn't have cream of celery or cream of chicken on hand. I think the cream of mushroom soup just adds so much more flavor. I also do this when I make Yumgetti and it adds so much flavor. Thanks for the meal ideas. :) Looking forward to trying the beef orzo dish.
So, my husband haaatesss mushrooms, but he likes the taste of cream of mushroom. Sooo, what I have to do is strain the cream of mushroom before I use it to make sure all the mushroom chunks are gone LOL. It sounds crazy, but it works! Sounds like it might work for you as well if you don’t mind the taste and just hate that chewy mushroom 😅

Hi Taylor! Do you have an immersion blender or regular blender? My hubby doesn’t care for cream of mushroom but if I blend is really well the mushrooms are just dots of flavor and no texture. Works like a charm when I want that flavor. 😃

I make stove top tuna and noodle, noodles, tuna and cream of mushroom. (My family loves mushrooms} I season it with garlic salt and black pepper. I usually serve it with french cut green beans and garlic bread. I also, prefer to use kulski noodles.

I use cream of mushroom in my tuna casserole recently. It didn’t bother me. My family doesn’t eat tuna or anything mushroom. I grew up eating wide noodles with cream of mushroom top of it then we had golden potato blintzes on the side.

I don’t like mushrooms at all because I’m allergic to them! Not only am I but so is my father and one of my sisters! I always said I was allergic to them because I didn’t want to eat them until One of the canned beef stews I used to eat cause me to get severely sick and I looked at the ingredients and found out it had mushrooms in it. I don’t eat that beef stew anymore but after that just proves that I really was allergic to them.😂

We like cream of mushroom, I can use either. I sometimes feel like chicken doesn't "go" so I switch it for cream of mushroom or cream of celery.

We have always used cream of celery in our tuna casserole. My mom used crushed potatoe chips on top but my kids loved French fried onions
