You will need a saw with wax saw blade to do this. Once you've cut your piece, file the sides to make sure flat and even. The ring blanks used in the tutorial are about 5mm thick to start with x

If you're 100% happy with your wax piece you can get a mould made of it so that you can cast multiples x

It will depend on the design, but you can make in the largest size and the size down. x
