Hi friends,
Today I thought I’d share a weekly breakfast preparation! While I don't mind waking up early to bake, I've found that it can sometimes consume the entire morning. To make things more efficient, I decided to experiment with preparing breakfast for the entire week in advance. Plus, since it's October, I couldn't resist incorporating pumpkin into the mix. I created a pumpkin dough that's versatile and perfect for various types of bread. Thanks to the Tangzhong method, it's incredibly soft and delightful. I'm pleased with how it turned out, and I hope you'll enjoy it too.

🎃Multi-purpose Pumpkin dough
• 40g bread flour
• 60g water
• 60g milk
• 660g bread flour
• 14g yeast
• 14g salt
• 100g sugar
• 240g pumpkin puree
• 2eggs
• 120g butter
• milk as needed
🎃Pumpkin Rice Cakes:
• 200g pumpkin puree
• 120g glutinous rice flour
• 80g rice flour
• 40g sugar
• 10g oil
• more pumpkin puree, cheese (optional)

Beside your lovely and calming videos, I like the fact that you don't show your daughter's face and respect her privacy. Hopefully your attitude stays that way :)
I tried to film myself cooking once. The lens steamed up instantly and then I dropped the camera in a pan of soup. Your filming and editing skills are incredible, you get a sense of serenity into them that is a marvel. Well done. The background music was more quirky this week. I liked that.
wow the shot you described seems so dreamy! Steamed up lense really help the viewer feel like they are there too, plus when the camera submerges into the soup, that is next level viewer submersion. I feel like i can taste the soup as I imagine the scene!!! Yum!!❤❤❤

Oh my, not nearly enough grounds in that French press! You were surely disappointed, haha, I'm sorry! I have a scale but am often too lazy to use it 🙈, so I usually pour my medium coarse grounds until they juuuust hit the bottom of the plunger (and only brew for about 4 minutes).
Does your city offer compost pick-up? My husband and I make 3 to 4 cups of coffee everyday - our mini compost bin fills up every couple of days! ✨

MIcro wave your squash ensuring that it it is well perforated AKA stabbed, the skill will come off easily. Bake it, the sugars will come to the surface enhancing that sweet roasted flavour, again very easy to peel.

If you don’t mind me asking: What languages are you teaching Koko? English obviously but are you also speaking Italian and/or Chinese with her? I always wished I was raised bilingual and I envy everyone who was able to learn multiple language from a young age!

Thank you so much for watching my videos and for asking! I mostly speak English with her because that’s the language I’m most comfortable with, but I also make sure to teach her some basic Chinese so that she’ll be able to communicate with older family members in the future. She can say simple words like “hi”, “how are you?”, “delicious”, and “grandpa grandma” in Chinese now hahah

A good friend of mine learned the language of her grandparents when she was in her 20s only to be able to talk to them, and it meant so much to her grandparents. :) And silly (and ignorant) me, I somehow thought your main language was Italian. I'm so sorry!
