The audience doesn't seem to be enjoying. I would have been clapping along the whole time! This looks so cool. Wish we had something like this in the USA.
Some of the characters appear to have character derailments, expect Johnny, Buster, Mrs. Crawley and Rosita and Gunter, but Ash and Meena: Ash is upset for some reason maybe still heartbroken over losing her boyfriend Lance and is for some reason mad at everyone and Meena now has stage fright all over again, but luckly, Ash and Meena redeem themselves in Sing 2 (2021).
Meena trumpets like an elephant for the first time, and I hope we see Porsha howling like a wolf and have Rosita and Gunter oink like pigs and have Meena trumpet like an elephant and have Johnny roar like a gorilla same for Clay but as a lion in Sing 3.
The show is great, but Ash and Meena do have character derailments in the show, first Ash is for some reason still heartbroken over Lance cheating on her (Though Rosita and Gunter already helped her get over him in the first movie.) and not having a boyfriend to marry and raise kids with to the point where she refuses to perform as it reminds her too much of him though she changed her mind at the end (Though she also could just be complaining about the routine she has to do in the show.) and Meena has stage fright all over again and has to go through the same character development that helped her recover from it in the first movie, but Ash and Meena lucky redeem themselves in Sing 2 and their character developments from the first movie encourage Clay Calloway to perform as a famous rock star again after his wife Ruby’s death and convince Porsha to disown her own jerkass father Jimmy (Just as Ash broke up with Lance.) and join the Moon Theater Family who she considered to be her true family instead. I hope that Sing 2 gets a ride called Space Odyssey at Minion Land (Now featuring Porsha Crystal, Clay Calloway, Nooshy, Darius and Suki Lane from the second movie and lots of new characters, like Mia who will appear in Sing 3, Arthur Sweetburg the red fox costume designer voiced by Tom Holland and Porsha’s boyfriend, while Nooshy will finally appear as Johnny’s girlfriend, Arthur’s younger brother Arctic fox Lucas Sweetburg voiced by Jacob Tremblay, white rabbit Eliza voiced by Leslie Grace and Clay’s son Colin Calloway voiced by Jeremy Runner and Ash’s new boyfriend who all get roles as characters in the play too.) in 2024, 2025 or 2026 which focuses on the Moon Theater Family at Broadway Theater in New York City performing a sequel to Out of This World called Out of This World 2: Journey to Galaxy X with all the main characters reprising their roles as their characters from the original Out of This World expect Porsha Crystal who’s acting skills have improved since the events of the second movie and she now did the lead role as the astronaut alongside Rosita and Rosita appears as the original astronaut, Porsha appears as the astronaut’s apprentice and Gunter still appears as the robot and Porsha’s understudy golden retriever Mia voiced by Hailee Steinfield who will play a lead role in Sing 3 playing the alien in the Planet of Joy in her place. Porsha and Arthur will also sing and perform, “Levitating” by Dua Lipa, and Nooshy and Johnny will sing, “Honey Don’t Breaking My Heart” by Elton John and Brittney Spears and have all the characters sing and perform “I Won’t Let You Down” OK Go at the end. What do you think?

My favorite part was the Faith segment of the show, because of the squid lights projected on the stage, gave me deja vu to the squid power scene in the original movie, which was beautiful and I was sad that the stage was destroyed because that would’ve been so cool to see! Luckily they use squid power in the final act of the show! Like the grand finale, the squids finally get the chance to shine! (No pun intended) :D

Well... at least the footage is beautiful 4K footage... The singing is atrociously off key and lacks the passion the movie sends. How embarassing! You got some amazing rides, and then ... this... I do like the animatronics and the feel of the theater, although it does feel light in the budget. Seems like this show was an afterthought in the masterplan of USB

In China, it is not that they do not enjoy it but that they have a different rhythm, they applaud synchronized, like Korea or Japan.
In Japan it’s rude to distract from the show. So they clap at the end of each song, Which is why a lot of American musicians don’t tour there lol
