I just easily installed 8 of these, 2 of which were in shower stalls. MUCH brighter than the flood lamps originally installed. Not only brighter but illuminates a much larger area. The only two con's are 1) overly pricey and 2) there is about a 1 second delay for the lights to come on after flipping the switch. Otherwise, very pleased with ease of installation, brightness, and reduced power consumption!

You do not have to use the recessed lighting kit to switch to LED lighting. You can simply change the bulb and in that way choose whatever light option you wish. Thank you for visiting Lowe's on RUclips. - Lowe's

I have a Lutron dimmer with green LED level indicator and they wouldn't work properly with it so I had to get a regular slide dimmer and they work perfectly. They also didn't install that easily for me. I'm thinking the cans I have may not be compatible but I managed to get it to work through some modifications. They didn't fit snug against the ceiling and continued to fall out of the can. Anyway, the lights are nice and I'm looking forward to the energy savings. Sorry, running out of space

    This is neat
I like it but does not state if there are more options available such as more powerful light

Hello Lowe's! I have the EXACT product in your video here, and I'm trying to find out where to purchase it. I'm having a heck of a time finding them online. Did they stop making them or something? If you go to your video at the 0:22 mark, that is precisely what I'm trying to find. I have 6 of these in my kitchen ceiling, and the bulb burned out in one of them. I don't know if I can just replace the bulb, or if I have to buy a whole new kit. Can you please advise? Also, I am not a good do-it-yourselfer because I am disabled. How does a person access this thing to fix it? Can it be fixed from underneath it inside the kitchen, or does a person have to crawl around up in the attic and make their way over to these lights? Oh I hope you see this message and answer. I need help! Thank you!!!

Hi Andy. Unfortunately we no longer carry this product. We did find contact information for Sylvania, hoping they can provide more information: Phone: 1-800-544-4828 or email lightbulb@ledvance.com.
