I honestly don't know what's more likely: either Zeta Players is an impressive piece of software that can accurately portray genuine human beings in a Sandbox Gmod server fighting boredom, or the fact that its a Sandbox server, the bar of expectations was already set so low that its a tripping hazard.
I joined a normal online sandbox server and it had exactly the same kind of people - VIP users with oddly specific furry PMs, psychos instigating fights/checking who has FF enabled, people just building stuff, people just watching stuff, the most random shit being played on voice chat and text chat. It staggered me how similar Zetas are to the real deal lol.
Yeah I randomly clicked on this video and let it play in the background while a did something else, I came back and it didn't even fucking cross my mind these were bots until I rewatched the beginning, this is crazy, its surreal how close this is to real players
Then again, I don't think you need to be a genius programmer to recreate the autism of sandbox servers, LOL
@@JopieA Well, maybe if you dont care about making the user's computers detonate. What i'm impressed most by is how there can be loads of zetas in one game without crashing instantly.

I was not aware of zeta players. I am both amazed and horrified that we have progressed as species to the point of accurately simulating the insanity of a sandbox server. Truly chaos is in control of our fate.
Also the ending was peak early 2010s gmod vibes, wonderful. Excited to see the progress on the pusfume mod!

Watching Bardin get chased by a chair wielding skeleton yelling spanish made me laugh so hard I felt like my head was going to pop. It seriously felt like a goddamn vice was on my skull and it took almost 3 minutes to subside. Thank you Janfon for daily mortality reminder. Please make more of this between your stellar high effort content. Its amazing.

It's scary how human this AI can be at times, I would have 100% have believed this was a real snadbox server. My favorite parts were when Papyrus's AI decided it was going to suicide bomb every few minutes, and that little exchange with Kruber and Spanish Skeleton. It looked like Kruber knew Spanish and understood him.
Upcoming update will allow zetas to build constructions from the scratch, piece by piece. The line is becoming more and more blurred

Since then he has been renamed to Papyrush since he rushes everything and everyone down, however the old name lives in my head rent free. It was from a randomized zeta and I saved it as a "profile" (preset character)

I think a game mode where real players have to blend in with the zetas while one guy tries to guess who is real would be fun.
Unfortunately this addon is unintended for multiplayer and zetas have their own separate scoreboard, but it would be fun

Seen Kruber interacting with a Chilean Skeleton felt so surreal on a level I couldn't describe. In Chile, that Skeleton is a Huaso (an Chilean analog of a Cowboy or a man native from the Countryside) which is funny thanks to Markus also being from a farm. The gibberish make it all more delightful.
