I think salad makers in the middle and tables left and right would work really well. You could have two sets of makers sharing ingredients which saves space. Plus, your runners wouldn't have to run as far (the ones that have to run the farthest would go half the distance).

This level is pretty minmaxed, the only major difference I had is I only used 5 salad stations, each providing 4 tables to get my record back the next day. While it's neat you barely scratched out the record, what I think is even more impressive is the hefty gap between you, Yoshii and the third place (as of the recording of this video). After all, there's a bigger gap between second and third than there is third and tenth.
Wish I was able to play this game myself, it looks so fun! (I have no computer rn RIP) Hope to see you do more story mode soon! Even if the challenges seem more your style of gameplay haha
