Honestly the hate is pretty ridiculous. I do agree that a lot of their more recent content starts to sound really similar but they really aren't bad at all. Especially their first 2 albums they were absolute bangers
Brad Huff it’s cause, I’ve noticed a lot of metal heads, strictly metal heads, like to say “this doesn’t fit my opinion of this genre to the most specific T, so it’s garbage.” Not all metal heads. But a lot surely do.
Besides FFDP being a Metal, badass band and how big they are. A couple years back they almost broke up. Ivan Moody (Lead Singer) used to be a alcoholic. Not only did he almost lose his band, but he also almost lost the right to see his kids when him and his wife got divorced. After that point he started getting his life all cleaned up. He is now 2 year sober and going strong. Love your reactions. Ive found alot of great bands through you guys. Keep up the amazing work!!!
If need be.. Phil could definitely fill in for Ivan almost permanently. I went to that show. I had no idea prior lol. 5FDP and ATR are my top 2 favs lmao
I saw FFDP in concert last year... One of the most epic arena metal concerts I have ever seen. I'm only a casual fan of FFDP but their show is fantastic.
Favorite song by them is “You”. Also for this album their record company told them to hurry with their recording so they took the next couple months to tour the US
They are big with being a very fan oriented band, plus they have mad respect to military, they have done tons of shows for troops and the video they made for the cover of Bad Company they made was of their USO tour they did visiting the troops overseas. My unit at the time was in it twice. Got to meet the band and the guy standing in front of me was in the Marines with Ivan and was very cool to see them hit it off again after a few years of being out of contact with eachother.
What you said about "Metallica Level Production" is not a stretch by any means. They just became the #2 selling metal band of all time, right behind Metallica themselves. So fair comparison in my eyes
FFDP is a great band they write all of their music about things they’ve been through or things their fans can relate to I watched an interview and the singer won’t sings some songs because they are to personal to him and his battle with addiction
You mentioned Jonathan Davies's mic stand reminds you of alien, it's funny you said that because it was created for him by HR Giger (The artist that designed Alien)
On the topic of kids going to metal shows, we have a thing called the siege of Limerick (here in Limerick, Ireland) basically a huge local metal festival, lot of deathcore, slam, the more underground styles. Swear to god, some dude brought his little girl, who looked about 3 or 4, AND SHE HAD THOSE HUGE HEADPHONES ON LOL. I told him "that's parenting done right" and his smile was one of the biggest I've ever seen.
A lot of Five Finger Death Punch videos is footage of live shows because the band hates acting in music videos. That's why when they do act in music videos it's usually something that's ridiculous because they're just trying to have fun doing it.
The knuckles on his microphone are a reference to their main mascott Knucklehead. He is always shown on the albums as a giant skull with scary eyes and teeth biting down on a set of brass knuckles. With a red hand print on his forehead. Which symbolizes their name five finger death punch. Hand print: Five finger(Because the hand has five fingers) Skull:Death(Skull symbolizes death) Brass Knuckles: Punch(knuckles are used to punch people) yes I know I might know a little too much about them.
FFDP is one of those bands that is awesome in moderation but I couldn’t sit down and listen to an entire album. It starts to sound the same. It’s heavy but not too heavy and I think that’s why their so popular. It’s safe metal
I saw Seether in Kuwait during their USO tour in 2015, awesome group of dudes, FFDP performed a few months prior, man I wish I could've seen them there. Would've been so sick.
Ivan the lead singer was a major alcoholic and became sober after major help. During his rehab tommy vext the lead singer of bad wolves took over for a little. They had a different drummer who name is Jeremy spencer but hey underwent back surgery and took time off then later decided to leave the band. There one of my favourites and hats how I know so much
They are staying in their own lane and doin awesome at it to unlike that noise pollution that Bring Me The Horizon is calling music that’s just absolute shit
I have to agree, but with that being said, I have very simple tastes, and 5fdp is my favorite band. They are definitely not for everybody though, but can't blame them for giving the fans what they want, they are talented musicians, but they could be elite if they improved the lyrics and tinkered with the structure a bit
FFDP is one of my favorite bands. I don't really have an issue with all the flaws people say the band has, if they're not for you that's fine but I just enjoy hearing there music
The main singer's name is Ivan Moody. the band's drummer left recently and he picked out a new drummer to replace himself. Ivan lets out his feelings in some of his songs like "Remember Everything" where he's talking about his past and how it still hurts him. The band has denied playing that song in any further concerts because they see how much it impacts Ivan. I kind of want you to react to "Living the Dream" by FFDP.
Jonathan Davis’ mic stand was designed by H. R. Giger, who also designed the original xenomorph in the Alien movies. Cool that his style stood out to you.
One time while touring, Ivan (The lead singer) went to rehab and Phil from All That Remains actually stepped in for him, that was actually the time I saw them. His heavier vocals were good, but he couldn't do the cleans like Ivan
They are very big on supporting the military, first responders. You should check out their cover of Blue on Black with KWS, Brantley Gilbert and Brian May. Zoltan with the dreads is one of the very few civilians certified to train the military in hand to hand combat
Fun fact most people don't know about, FFDP isn't a bunch of old friends who started a band or the typically band backstory at all. Their record label basically too keach of them and thought they'd play well together in a band. They were right.
five finger brings they're young fans on stage I have seen them 4 times including they're first time in canada some of my best memories ever should check "coming down"by them
Well they are out of Vegas, Jeremy Spencer the former drummer who completed the first 7 albums walked away so this is a new drummer for F8, ivan has had this knuckle tats since they came out, alot of there music is based on real events and things that have personal experienced
Dude u should do a video describing what ur sleeve looks cool. If there’s meaning behind some of the tats. I watched is have more added an was just curious
Please react to Excuse Me by Fire From the Gods, it released a couple years ago but it’s their best song and most popular. It also has a music video for you haha
Idk how I feel about them. I dont hate them but I dislike how he drops an F bomb in every song and sometimes it seems repetitive and songs sound similar. Ivans voice is sick and everyones talented but I feel like they have the potential to be better if like someone else wrote their stuff for em😭
In my mind, I see Five finger death punch, Avenged sevenfold, and Disturbed were/are the Modern Metal Mega Bands whereas I feel like Metallica, Led Zeppelin, and Megadeth where the Old school Metal Mega Bands. Anyone else agree?
Love the channel bro! You guys need to check out over n under it, pride , devils own, white knuckles , battle born, wrecking ball, cradle to the grave , hell to pay …… lol I could go on.
Just found your channel thanks to Alex Hefner doing a reaction to reactors channels. Check out their cover of The Offspring’s Gone Away. Also please check out some Manowar, Prong, and Metal Church and Flotsam and Jetsam’s songs Wading Through The Darkness and Swatting At Flies. I think you guys would like these 4 bands. Thanks. Keep Rocking Out!!!
Finally a metalhead who dosent hate this band
Honestly the hate is pretty ridiculous. I do agree that a lot of their more recent content starts to sound really similar but they really aren't bad at all. Especially their first 2 albums they were absolute bangers

@@HuntersReject97 you mean the way of the fist+war is the answer?
@Beast 509 have you watched his other vids, he likes other bands, I mean I don't know what it takes in your opinion to be a metalhead
Best Metalband in the world! Who hates them ?!
I have a buddy who got pointed out by Ivan at a show for holding up a sign that said, "Wisconsin's got your six."
@SKYLAR QUACKENBUSH not sure which show it was but that might've been it
Phil of All That Remains actually filled in when he had checked himself into rehab so the band could continue touring and he killed it!
If need be.. Phil could definitely fill in for Ivan almost permanently. I went to that show. I had no idea prior lol. 5FDP and ATR are my top 2 favs lmao
Yes I saw that concert. Phil did great
Phil came out during the CT show, him and Ivan on stage. INSANE
Tommy vext also did as well. Phil also filled in for Howard Jones in Killswitch 🤘
I saw FFDP in concert last year... One of the most epic arena metal concerts I have ever seen. I'm only a casual fan of FFDP but their show is fantastic.
I love how they always give a fan a baseball bat.
Favorite song by them is “You”.
Also for this album their record company told them to hurry with their recording so they took the next couple months to tour the US

Wyatt: Are you at all into 5 finger?
Lizzy: ...
You mentioned Jonathan Davies's mic stand reminds you of alien, it's funny you said that because it was created for him by HR Giger (The artist that designed Alien)
Also RIP Neil Peart
There they are🤘🤯 Welcome back guys. You guys are amazing - keep at it (From Ontario as well) cheers buds! Great video 👌🔥
Met the singer in October of 2018 in Las Vegas! One of the coolest dudes I’ve ever had the chance to hang out with, had the greatest heart.
I love this song. How they go into the chorus gives me chills. Ivan Moody has always been on of my favorite vocalists
On the topic of kids going to metal shows, we have a thing called the siege of Limerick (here in Limerick, Ireland) basically a huge local metal festival, lot of deathcore, slam, the more underground styles. Of all the songs that have dropped recently...
This whole album was fantastic
My mom makes fun of me anytime I listen to FFDP lol
Nothing else just FFDP
The knuckles on his microphone are a reference to their main mascott Knucklehead. He is always shown on the albums as a giant skull with scary eyes and teeth biting down on a set of brass knuckles. With a red hand print on his forehead. Which symbolizes their name five finger death punch.
Hand print: Five finger(Because the hand has five fingers)
Skull:Death(Skull symbolizes death)
Brass Knuckles: Punch(knuckles are used to punch people) yes I know I might know a little too much about them.
Wyatt buddy the singer of five finger death punch is Ivan L Moody your welcome guys great reaction as always
I think FFDP might be my guilty pleasure band
FFDP is one of those bands that is awesome in moderation but I couldn’t sit down and listen to an entire album. It starts to sound the same. It’s heavy but not too heavy and I think that’s why their so popular. It’s safe metal
Polaris... Hypermania... plz and ty!
You guys are the best 💯 There are so many fake reaction videos out there, but you guys are genuine! Love it!!
They are insane in concert. Definitely go to one
REACT TO FULL CIRCLE BY THEM
The brass knuckles are part of their logo where the FFDP letters fill in each of the knuckle holes. Hence the popular use of it in the video.
5 am in Germany, but I'm here 🤘🏻😁
I love that you mentioned my favourite movie “Alien”!!!!
I saw Seether in Kuwait during their USO tour in 2015, awesome group of dudes, FFDP performed a few months prior, man I wish I could've seen them there. Would've been so sick.
I love the reaction man great to see you back can't wait to see some more drum covers bro by the way I love this song and ffdp so thank you🤘💥
Happy New Year Wyatt and Lindsey...also, toss a coin to your witcher
Oh valley of plenty! :D
A friend of humanity :)

They had a different drummer who name is Jeremy spencer but hey underwent back surgery and took time off then later decided to leave the band. There one of my favourites and hats how I know so much
I was really into FFDP for awhile but over time all their songs started sounding very similar and repetitive to me.
Jeff Zicker there lyrics are even more cringe now too
@@billcrampton4476 I was trying to say it in a way that didn't insult the band lol. But most of their songs are just the same lyrics, but rearranged.
They are staying in their own lane and doin awesome at it to unlike that noise pollution that Bring Me The Horizon is calling music that’s just absolute shit
I have to agree, but with that being said, I have very simple tastes, and 5fdp is my favorite band. I enjoy these reaction videos as well as your drum covers. It broadens my music especially with newer bands.
Definitely one of the Top 5 shows I've been to.
The mic stand in the Korn video was designed by H.R Geiger, the concecpt artist of the movie Alien.

Hey Wyatt, Ivan is a Marine Corps veteran which is the reason alot of the music is focused on veterans.
Phil from all that remains actually sang for ffdp when Ivan was in rehab, if not mistaken
Mycth I thought it was tommy vext from bad wolves
It was Tommy vext, but Phil sang a few songs live alongside Ivan
yes Phil actually filled in for Ivan back in 2016 (I think) on the tour with sixx am and shinedown. atleast he did for the date in hershey PA.
They are very big on supporting the military, first responders. You should check out their cover of Blue on Black with KWS, Brantley Gilbert and Brian May. Zoltan with the dreads is one of the very few civilians certified to train the military in hand to hand combat
If I remember correctly, the guy who designed Jonathan's mic stand from korn actually was the same guy who designed the Xenomorph from Alien
The lead singer of five finger death punch's name is Ivan Moody
The singer used to be in a band called Motograter. Look up Motograter song called Suffocate.
FFDP - Wrong Side of Heaven is MUST What they do for the troops is so AWESOME
Fun fact most people don't know about, FFDP isn't a bunch of old friends who started a band or the typically band backstory at all. Their record label basically too keach of them and thought they'd play well together in a band. They were right.
That’s the first album with a new drummer I believe.
Yes JD's microphone stand is from H. R. Gyger and he invented Alien 🤘😬
five finger brings they're young fans on stage I have seen them 4 times including they're first time in canada some of my best memories ever should check "coming down"by them
Ivan Moody is my favorite voice in the metal scene. It just has that "I'm gonna kick your ass" sound to it.
Yeah he's always had the knuckles. Their Mic stand is a Skeleton holding a gun.
Should note that this is also just the radio edit of Inside Out
Well they are out of Vegas, Jeremy Spencer the former drummer who completed the first 7 albums walked away so this is a new drummer for F8, ivan has had this knuckle tats since they came out, alot of there music is based on real events and things that have personal experienced
Phil from all that remains actually replaced Ivan at least singer for a small portion of the tour one year. He fucking killed it too!
Wash it all away
House of the rising sun
Jekyll and Hyde
Sham pain
5fdp is so awsome cant wait to see them in concert
Hey I’m a big fan Wyatt you are a big inspiration to me I love everything you do hope you have a great night or morning or evening lol 🖤🤘🏻😝
Great reaction! Yup, this is on every "Bro," weightlifting playlist!
yeaaaaa, youre back!
Dude u should do a video describing what ur sleeve looks cool. If there’s meaning behind some of the tats. I watched is have more added an was just curious
Great reaction!!
Please react to Upon a Burning Body - Reinventing Hatred
jonathan davis micstand was created by hr giger the same guy who created alien from the movies. you should check out his work, you will love it.
You guys should hit up old school Motograter. Same singer haha. Also, this album has a new drummer....and he plays exactly the same as Jeremy did
Love ffdp i want to see them in concert
Ivan moody first band he was in was motorgrater you should check them out
Now second RIP to Oli from ATR...you were right about the singer Phil Labonte
Is this the first song without Jeremy Spencer behind the kit?
King Black yup, this is the first song with their new drummer!
Is the witcher good? Worth getting Netflix for?
Jason Hook use to be Mandy Moores touring guitarist hahaha just thought that was a fun fact lol
Honor Neil Peart with a cover! He paved the way for the very music we watch you react to 🤙🏻
Please react to Excuse Me by Fire From the Gods, it released a couple years ago but it’s their best song and most popular. It also has a music video for you haha
I’ve seen them twice live also and they are fucking amazing
Awesome 💯
Bad Omens - Never Know!! And Blow Me by The Used ft Jason Butler!!
Tony Kolas YAS
Idk how I feel about them. I dont hate them but I dislike how he drops an F bomb in every song and sometimes it seems repetitive and songs sound similar. Ivans voice is sick and everyones talented but I feel like they have the potential to be better if like someone else wrote their stuff for em😭
Lindsay looks awesome and really cute with that hat.
I friggin love this band.
They fucking suck fake commercial bullshit
I like them due to the fact they are awesome but they pay tribute to the military and the first responders
i actually dig this song
His voice is bad ass.
In my mind, I see Five finger death punch, Avenged sevenfold, and Disturbed were/are the Modern Metal Mega Bands whereas I feel like Metallica, Led Zeppelin, and Megadeth where the Old school Metal Mega Bands. Anyone else agree?
Till this day I regret not going to they show 😔
Hypermania by Polaris!
You HAVE to react to their new song “Living the Dream”!!
It was the same artist that made alien that made JDs mic stand
You should check out their song Under and Over it
🔥 the MOST DETAILED remake of “Five Finger Death Punch - Inside Out” - ruclips.net/video/6K-J81JgAU0/видео.html 👌🏼
Love the channel bro! You guys need to check out over n under it, pride , devils own, white knuckles , battle born, wrecking ball, cradle to the grave , hell to pay …… lol I could go on.
On the topic of Jonathan Davis...he's ALWAYS reminded me of Predator lmfao
Check out some of the new album they released. I’d recommend Bottom of the Top and Darkness settles in.
They also absolutely hate doing videos. That’s why they flex the rig so much
One of the members is related to vinyl Paul
Check out never know by bad omens!
oh nooooo the radio edit has weird auto tune... Noooo
If you like FFDP you should check out MetalGrader which is Ivan Moody's old band. They have a music video for the old Chainsaw Massacre movie.
