Have you thought about producing a series of videos for medical students that goes through research design and recent research papers as examples? Something that would bridge what we get in class/rotations and what is discussed here? For example when pfs is acceptable and when its weak... Also maybe a small bridge of "basic science" into "clinical" into "true clinical." Or is this just something we slowly pick up along the way? If that's the case, I feel like a lot of docs missed it "along the way."
Thank you for your video Dr. Prasad. What is your general approach for a transplant eligible newly diagnosed myeloma patient? Do you think ASCT has any place then in the buffet of treatment options we have?
As a non doctor but someone who had an ASCT for Mantle Cell Lymphoma back in February 2023 what am I to make of this? I am supposed to trust my doctors and assume? they are giving me the best possible care but after viewing this I am full of doubt.
Maybe in your environment transplant is the high paying money moving machine you describe but for... Say... MOST OF THE WORLD if you get out of your 1st World bubble is the cheap option and videos like this saying ALL centers promote transplant due to monetary benefits is where you lost my respect. Not an easy thing to do. But youve managed it.
We all need a Dr. Prasad in our lives, its so sad how important profits have become over a human life.

read his book!
Not my field but still find your vids fascinating.
Thank you- but so disheartening. I really hope your words are getting to the people that can do something about this
Thank you for this video Vinay! Is there anywhere we could find the slides you have? Thanks
VP, have you thought about starting your own journal?
Vinay, Can you please post the link to the papers you cover so that we can go over them while you cover them? Thanks, Mate!

I’m up for a kidney transplant but isn’t there another solution? Pretty sure stem cell treatment will be superior but it’s not available

Fascinating. Thanks.
Are there ever any good papers?
VP just flushed my job down the toilet. Guess I'm going to go back to working in the homeless shelter.
Junk comments even as viewed by a non MD (me).
