Super cool! Could you please explain how did you paired AR and digi?

Welcome to my channel! Yes sure, all the drum sounds are from the AR, the kick is pure internal machine, on snare and hats I’ve layered some samples. AR also provide the 2 sounds loaded on pad 5 and 6. In the digitone instead I’ve programmed the sub bass and the additional synth sound for the “call and response”. There’s no additional external process , they went directly to the audio interface, a focusrite 2i4, and recorded in ableton. The connection between the instruments is a simply midi where AR gives clock to the digitone

Very musical! Somber mood. I like also how you use the AR almost like a one shot clip launch. I’d love to know more how you divided the work between the two instruments. Most of the drums were on the AR I think and the lopping drones were DT?

Thank you for the comment! You are right on where the sounds are coming, the AR give his best when you layer sample and internal sound generator. Some single shot fx are also played by the AR, adding reverb and delay that in this machine are very good.
DT cover everything else: bassline, looping drones and riser/fx.
