Outside of "Love Song," this is my favorite Sara Bareilles song. It's so clever and so true! The music itself is just so fabulous, and I'm in love with the lyrics! It actually inspired me for my college writing class. I wrote a story following the four princesses mentioned after their "happily ever after." So thank you, Sara, for sharing you're amazing music and helping me get the top grade in my class! :D

All these years later in 2024, I suddenly thought of this song and popped it on. The lyrics still give me a good chuckle. MANY years ago, I used this song for a musical theatre audition that called for a humorous/lighthearted song. I don't remember if I got into the show or not, but remember how much fun I had learning this song.
"love song" is one of the songs that i can listen to over and over again without getting tired. Not many songs can for me. Not even my favorite "my sacrifice" by creed. I think it's the music that calms me down, the way the song flows. Even though Sara has an amazing voice, it's not the lyrics that i love in the song "love song", it's only the way the music flows.
