Dokibird learning to play 2XKO will be the true test of accesibility, someone who has barely dipped their toes in a fighting game (cheesing people with King in Tekken 8) already and with a general gamer background.
I absolutely loved the game so far and had an amazing time, im on the mindset that it will change de FGC in some way I also believe it needs works to more organically introdoce for new players, its very fluid when you already play fighting games, but not even a little bit for the league player. Imagine using pulse and getting 2 touched by someone because he didnt know how to push guard or something like that, its very frustrating. Hopefully they'll get better at launch and along the way, hell SF5 took a long time to be decent and even more to be very fun!
I think the name of the game is itself a sign the devs aren’t really focused on being “the” game. They aren’t even leveraging the IP in the name. Looking at the gameplay, I think they are focusing too heavily on the in-crowd of the FGC. Even if they shift, I still think the game will be more of a niche Riot product than an Everyman game. Not a bad thing necessarily.

Will this game make Fighting games mainstream again ? Probably not .Will it have healthy player base about 5k to 10k I think its very likely.
