    Guys, Myles Garrett wants to win, not be in another rebuild, he’s gunna wind up on a contender like Buffalo or Baltimore (though the browns might not be as interested with trading him in the division). I think Washington and Detroit should offer the house (1st and 2nd rounders this year with a 1st next year) for him before Buffalo snags him. I don’t wanna see him twice a year in our division…

      @@PD18765 Replying to you and the guy above you:
      I'm in total agreement with you guys. Miles Garrett just said he wants to go somewhere that is a contender. Why on earth would he play for a team that just won 4 games...lmao. The media just ignores the guys entire statement and is talking like it's a possibility for the Pats. I see him going anywhere in the AFC north (if Browns allow it), Bills, Chiefs, Chargers, Texans, Lions, or Washington.
      Lions seem like the best fit. I can't imagine him on one end, and Hutchinson on the other. What a problem that would be for offenses.

      @@PD18765 Its a talking piece dude. They have to do it for clicks. Lol. No one realistically believes he would come here (if they do, they are delusional). Would it be nice? Absolutely. But we all know it isn't happening but it gives these guys who basically talk about the same thing everyday, something new to talk about and put out.

    Cooper Kupp doesn't move very well since his injuries, but he can still have a role as a player.
    He'd be ideal for turning around the receiver room culture. His preparation is exquisite. His ceiling's probably less than what Thielen gave the Panthers, but for a low price, he's worth having.

      Trading for Garrett makes no sense for a rebuilding team, and even less for Myles. No way is he getting traded to New England or signing a contract with the Patriots, obviously.

      Just have Kupp check in at the trainers room on his way into the building because hes going to be there a substancial part of his time on the team.

    Hey Phil! ..Honestly,,,we have slot receivers coming out of our ears including Pop.. Boutte was primarily a slot at LSU and Polk was an outstanding slot his senior year..Guy was lost and out of place being forced into the X this year ..We BADLY have needed outside X and Z receivers for years...I can't stress enough that Tee Higgins is exactly what this team needs...Cincy just can't afford him...

    Seriously my head is going to implode listening to people suggest the pats give up assets for 30 year old guys, who would require draft picks, and a ton of money to acquire, and in the case of Kupp hasn't even been healthy or particulalry productive the last couple of years. If you are going to trade it best be for guys who are going to be here for the nextt 5-6 years like Garret Wilson

    Awful take. You don’t give up a premium asset for a guy who has at most 5 years in the league before he retires. You might get like 2 years of elite play, and then he’ll fall off.

    No I don't know about giving up the 4th overall pick for Garrett and then having to sign them it's like you're depleting to assets for one player like we have money and the draft pick we're going to utilize a chunk of the money and lose the draft pick for one player that's 30! Idk ....

    I don't think Tee Higgins is a good fit, and the guy hasn't proven to be a #1. It's easy to be a beast when Chase is getting doubled every play. Higgins is high caliber for sure, but unproven. I rather see them use the money on core positions like the line(s).
    I'm going to put my GM hat on for sec, here in my computer chair, this is what I would do:
    1) Invest in your O-line through draft, and free agency
    2) Invest in your D Line, mainly the edge
    3) Bring in a veteran WR who has some ball left, but serves as a mentor to our dysfunctional WR room. Get Kupp if you can get him for less than $15M a year and no higher than a 4th rounder. Other options, Chris Godwin, Stefon Diggs, both you might be able to get cheap cause of injury. (I know Diggs is probably not the mentor type but who knows)... I think pursuing Kupp would be worth it because he's awesome all around, skill, toughness, leadership, etc.
    5) Sign a change of pace back like a JK Dobbins if available
    6) Get a linebacker that has some level of speed, I love Bentley, but our division requires more speed
    If Philly wins the super bowl, I think there's a strong chance they would be open to trading AJ Brown, and the Pats could get him. maybe I'm just being wishful

    Kupp,is a do my job guy if there ever was one and for culture it’s hard to say no but if we have to give up anymore then say a four then no. I’ll take on the two year salary cause they are looking to spend near that per year on a WR. It would also help develop his replacement if we can find one in this draft or he’s already on the team. Myles is good but at this time he’s in win now mode and we are not no way does that put us over the top so why would you spend that much. It makes no sense.

  • @ktom987

    To Pats fans…
    Would you trade Javon Baker for Kupp? Why wouldn’t you trade a 4th for Kupp. He might go for much less. We’re the only team that can take on his cap. Rams would love to trade him here and we eat cap. DO IT

  • @WalkerPhillips-o3q

    Get a left tackle and 2 wide receivers... make sure we get a #1.. Spend as much as they want to get paid... not a 20M #2 or #3. Draft a Edge and a RB.. And add to OL

  • @PaddyFox228

    Perry would trade every draft picks we have for the next 2 years away for a couple of guys who will be for about 2/3 years. He wants succes now instead of long term..

  • @SuperTomdog1
    @SuperTomdog1 2 дня назад

    Trade Joe Milton, a draft pick and 1 player for Garrett. Bring in Cooper Kupp and Deebo Samuel/Travis Hunter to sell Garrett. Get Olineman in free agency. Guys who will hit the ground running. Hunter is your receiver/special teams/2nd corner opposite Gonzo. We need a better rb who catches the football. We need a better strong safety with size. We need a veteran free safety. Most of all we need pass rushers. I like Pearce jr. and Jordan Burch. If we can execute all of that we will be good next year. Trade Bourne, Douglas, Stevenson, Duggar, Barmore, etc... for draft picks then use the xtra draft capital to make trades and to trade up in the draft. Quality over quantity.

    Id rather have AJ Brown and Cooper Kupp than T Higgins. 2 physical football players who can dominate. Kupp is Edelman-like and Brown is like Anquan Boldin. He can dominate inside or outside. Too much risk with Higgins coming here at high market dollar. My spidey sense is tingling...NO!

  • @JoshuaGray-v8u
    @JoshuaGray-v8u 6 дней назад

    you cant rebuild by trading away picks. I hope they dont listen to your advice. DE will not change a franchise. They are in best spot to overhaul roster which is what they need. Draft capital and cap space dont kill both with one move. Stop window shopping and build a team they are way more than one move away.

  • @KevanBrose
    @KevanBrose 7 дней назад +1

    So dumb. 4th overall pick plus crazy money. It's a double cost. At least with a draft pick the cost is reasonable. Trading for players is to put the final piece on a roster. To get over the hump. All last 2 off seasons you gotta draft well ya gotta develop over and over again
    Then hey let's give up the 4th pick for someone that's played 8 seasons that will cost a fortune. Stupid.

Go look at the re-drafts done by PFF and others. Go see what another team would give up to get Maye now. Three #1s? Vikings and Giants offered two #1s before the season started.
