So Spain is not a country? Ireland is not a country? A country is so much more than just a currency! What kind of country do you live in if the only identity is a currency? And aren't you forgetting that Croatian are proud of being Europeans and EU citizens ? What a little insignificant mind you have right

@@KrlKngMrtssn I was quoting on the the ladies interviewed. She is right, what is a country in your small insignificant mind? "culture, folklore"? Country is sovereignity to express the political will of the people.Without currency the country doesn't have sovereignity, is a vassal state as spain and ireland.

@@gabrielaaugusto4972 There is so much wrong with your reply.
Firstly, what *is* a country? This might seem obvious, but your definition, after you boil it down, is nothing more than a load of eurosceptic BS. The truth is, that the definition of a "country" is extremely subjective. Experts have debated this for decades, and no fixed definition has come up. For all we know, your house is a country. The reason why everyone would say it's not, is because nobody has *recognised* it as independent. If you got a big conspiracy that made every single UN member recognise your house/street/city even, as a country (including the UN member you live in), then you would live in your own country.
Every single member of the Eurozone had the *option* to join. Maybe not de jure, but definitely de facto. Sweden has not joined the ERM II, a requirement to join, so they will not join until a referendum result in favour of joining happens.
The concept of "a country not having its own currency is not a country" is simply ridiculous in that regard. Again, by that logic, "a country that uses the metric system is not a country". Can you see how that is ridiculous by looking at it from another angle?
I hope my reply has debunked some prior misconceptions that you had.

@@indetermite people+territory+hability to decide the laws and policies in its own land. Metric system doesn't affect laws and policies, currency does, if a country uses foreign currency than its is not more independent than a household. Any country can decide not to be a country any more, or to be a country in name only, but the people should realize what it means to loose their currency. Some in croacia do, as the lady in the market in this video "a country without a currency is not a country" she said. Maybe she remembers Croacia making its own currency as son as it split from Yougoslavia...
