I think your review is spot on! Not much to complain about the string. I bought a reel. I use it in a hybrid setup with Ghost Wire for some additional comfort.
I stringed my new Head Boom Pro with Pure Rush on mains and Ghost Wire on the crosses at 47/45 lbs. • Power and control are really good and consistent. I would say that the power is a bit less than Restring 0 but control is way better. • The feel is really nice. Crisp but comfortable, not mushy or springy. Nice ball pocketing. • I think the sound is nice as well on impact. • Spin is decent, less than Restring 0 or Hyper G. You don’t get the bite on the ball but the snapback is good and the ball stays in. Haven’t tried Pure Rush in full bed. This hybrid works for me and will continue to use it.
Thanks for the review TK. If you thought that it was a round string, I think it says a lot about how sharp the string is. It’ll definitely be a must try once my lynx tour reel dries out. Also, I would want to know if you noticed any deep notching with this string ? Because personally it’s the main downside that I have with the head lynx tour. Cheers 👍
Your mistake was totally acceptable and let me tell you why. I am a fan of round polys. I love mostly Luxilon strings. There are few shaped strings that changed my perception on shaped strings. The first one is lynx tour and the second one is pure rush. And the simple reason is this: they don’t feel erratic, the offer great control and feedback / security of where the ball is gonna land, they don’t overshoot/slingshot on bad contact and they last longer meaning they don’t loose their characteristics after 4 hours like most solinco strings…… so in a way you could say they have round polys kinda properties….. i love pure rush. 80 bucks for a reel under 20% lifetime offer is a HUGE STEAL! ❤
Yeah, but I should have noticed it during stringing. Sure it's not super sharp, but by feel it's noticeable enough for someone like me that has strung somewhere around 5k racquets. You are right that it does play like a round poly without any erratic tendencies, but Toroline Super Toro is another 6-sided string that has no odd inconsistent tendencies either. I have Lynx Tour in my cart and I need to try it soon. Cheers
This string is very good excatly for the relaxed play and extended drills which i see in this youtube video and lower level not playing points. Not working for me when you rip it in point play and really try to push the opponent. Strings really needs to be tested in match play with serves and pressure situations against tough opponents.

How does it play with ghost wire in the crosses ?

Nice review. You said it's similar to Big hitter silver, but I think maybe Atomos is closer than Pure Rush. Have you tried Atomos?
Never even have heard of Atomos until seeing your comment. I see it's from Tru Pro as well.
check out kirschbaum max power rough!
I will be reviewing kirschbaum max power (not rough) very soon
@@TK-Tennis I think you'll like the rough texture. makes a round poly feel a little more bite but still keep direct feel!
👍 I typically prefer round poly's, plus for testing I always try to play test the round variants before the textured or shape option
@ makes sense! Looking forward to review

@@TK-Tennis I love super toro too. But it doesn’t give the same free power like pure rush :)
