Question.. wouldnt excessive pressure pull the fixture he expanded apart or is it like a push fit fitting? Genuinely curious.
It shrinks back down so tightly that the PEX will blow up like a balloon before that fitting goes.

I did my BM house in copper and dug her line 3 feet. When Texas froze she was the only one ready to get water because her lines never froze.
It should be about that deep regardless of freezing im in arizona and most lines are 3 ft down

I've had pexA work and not work. loose fittings in a box seem to leak more because the sharp ribs get battered. I've had to put hose clamps and heat to these little bastards before too. Then sometimes they just work. Who knows.

Why use a failed system. Pex fails check out how many times they have been sued. Then talk to a water damage company and ask them about pex. Save your self from being sued for causing water damage that can cost millions.
Pex A is used with expander fittings. Pex A will hold up better to freezing

Now show a caliper measureing the id of pex fittings then the id of copper fittings. Pex fittings restrict the flow.
That's Pex B, which is actually pretty ridiculous that it's even allowed to be sold the way it is since it's such a massive restriction.

Uponor is not that old when I was shopping for a re pipe for the house it’s back to cpvc which lasted 50 years pex b clear A shark bite material Sorta And type A uponor Know I guess there’s Blue red upenor ? If it’s the same standard Nothing can handle 1,450 psi on a hard freeze not even cooper 25 k from the meter all the way to include new w heater ect. And shut off w manifolds 2,500 sq ft home if u got or know of a better way Iam all ears cooper would be 75 k

If you've ever had a mouse in your house, You don't want this kind of pipe
Have hepex and aquapex for almost 25 years. Between joist radiant heat hepex piping. Mice, plenty, no chew marks or water leaks.
Have seen Romex chewed through to bare copper. It's plastic in the wire insulation that smells like food to the mice.
