The last 10 years the gold has gone 3 different countries: Finland has won 3, USA 3 and Canada 5. After the next final it will be again one of those (Finland or USA). So, nothing has really changed, it has been between Canada, Finland and USA (the pattern goes on). I'd be more surprised if the winner was not Canada, Finland or USA. In these days, those are the big 3 of the U20 tournaments

Russia and Canada dominated the sport from the 70s to the early 2000s. Not anymore. But that's a GOOD thing. As hockey fans, we want to see the game grow world wide.
If the states defense realized they had no pressure down low instead of blindly throwing it up the boards, it'd be a shutout. I hope we refine those kinds of details and go against Finland with chins up and 100% awareness of said team after tape play in practice.
Finland is obviously the 2nd best team in the tourney behind the US. If Sweden was better than Finland, they'd have won! But alas, they didn't. As usual the Swedes lose when it really matters. Sweden plays great when nothing is on the line. So no... they aren't the "2nd best team" when they've never done anything to prove that. Czech coach must have adjusted well stopping it from becoming a 9-1 game. Americans scored on the fast rush stopping the Czechs from laying 5 players down in front of their goalie tactic. Catching the Czechs on a line change was a great heads up play by that unknown USA defenseman. The American goalie lost his post and left half his net wide open on the Czech goal. Finland was built to beat Sweden so it should be just as easy for the Americans to beat Finland.

The point is what I have said on multiple channels so far. And I was correct. As usual. US will win. Finland is playing close to their maximum as is Czechia. Sweden has the best circumstances and the best coaches for young hockey players. They should be going for gold all the time (and in more sports than just winter sports). The current Swedish generations are more interested in TikTok and getting an NHL deal. And once in NHL they are fine with just the salary. Sweden is uninterested in a bronze game. The point is what I have said on multiple channels so far. And I was correct. As usual. US will win. Finland is playing close to their maximum as is Czechia. Sweden has the best circumstances and the best coaches for young hockey players. They should be going for gold all the time (and in more sports than just winter sports). The current Swedish generations are more interested in TikTok and getting an NHL deal. And once in NHL they are fine with just the salary. Sweden is uninterested in a bronze game. Congrats Czechia to the bronze!

It's always on display at the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto. We just give you guys the replica cup lol. True fact, look it up, the original Stanley Cup is held in a vault at the Hockey Hall of Fame. And if it wasn't for Canadian hockey players, no USA team would win the cup. Every Stanley Cup team always has a team stacked full of Canadian players.
