Dany does that exact smile on the original video love it but the song is just amazing and she does have a distinctive voice that you could recognize right away but great reaction Texan
Saying Dany’s voice isn’t distinctive is like admitting you can’t tell Anne Wilson from Pat Benatar. That’s just a ludicrous statement by a reactor with a lazy ear! Great reaction!
Great reaction! Dany's voice is beyond amazing!! Ale is a bass playing machine and she also has a perfect pitch! Pau is an awesome drummer as usual! Viva The Warning !! ⚡⚡⚡
I played their EP at work and my coworkers fell in love with Dany’s voice. They’re all young and none of them listen to rock (they listen to pop and rap) so this music was NOT their taste. But a number of them claimed they were hooked even tho this isn’t the music they listen to. Dany also doesn’t get the credit she deserves as a guitarist because she doesn’t ‘shred’ or do long solos. But how many people can come up with these catchy memorable riffs? There are tons of players that are technically proficient, but it’s very hard to create catchy melodies that not just draw you in, but stay stuck in your head.
Well, on Spotify, it's Disciple, Choke, Animosity, Z, Evolve, and Martirio. This song gives me chills every time, Official video or this studio cut, plus for me it's Dany's bright red lipstick and that devilish grin that does the trick. When they perform live, this is what I want to see when they play, a performance as close to the original as possible, and the Warning so far have delivered, I can't wait to see what's next.
Great reaction bro. Who the eff reactor said Dany doesn’t have a distinctive voice. I’m sick & tired of Dany not getting the recognition & credit she deserves. This is one of the reasons I don’t watch too many reaction channels. We’ll see if that reactor can belt like this, it ain’t effing easy. Being a 3 piece, Dany does 2-3 people’s work on stage. Her voice is amazing and I’ll definitely recognise it coz she is unique. Best front woman in rock & roll in my opinion. Dany is passion, Dany is hope, Dany is life 💕
AS USUAL THE WARNING GAVE AN EXCELLENT PERFORMANCE, THE IMPORTANT DETAIL IS THAT WE ARE ALREADY BEGINNING TO GLIMPSE THE EXCELLENT SOLOIST SINGER THAT WILL BE ALEJANDRA, SHE IS A MASTER PLAYING PIANO AND BASS, SHE IS A PANTHER ON STAGE WITH HER FELINE MOVEMENTS TO THE RHYTHM OF THE SONG, BUT I AM SURE THAT SHE WILL SURPRISE US PLEASANTLY WHEN SHE LETS LOOSE AND STARTS TO BE THE FIRST VOICE OF THE POWER TRIO, GIVE US A CHANCE! VERY GOOD REACTION AND KEEP ON SUPPORTING THE ROCK REVOLUTIONARIES OF THE XXI CENTURY. THE WARNING!!!
Unfortunately at this time Ale doesn’t want to take lead on a song, but who knows that could always change in the future. Ale does sing lead when needed, look for her singing lead on “River Souls”, “Red Hands Never Fade”, “Hunter”. She also does the falsetto in “Sinister Smiles”. As for my favorite of of Mayday, it’s definitely Animosity, but I really like all of them.
Dany definitely has a distinctive, recognizable singing voice. I'd like to know what reactor said that she doesn't, so I can make sure not to be subscribed to their channel. It's like someone saying that Ann Wilson or Chrissie Hynde wouldn't be recognizable on radio. Absurd! And we all love Dany's mischievous little smile at the start of the song!! Thank you for reacting to The Warning!
Well Texan, if you like bass, these are the live sessions for you. Ale’s bass sounds in these are incredible. Dany’s voice was already incredible but it has gotten even better now. They mentioned how they learned more on how to optimize their vocals working with David Bendeth. 🤘😎🔥🔥🔥
Yes, I love Ale singing lead! I love her voice, but it's also partly because it's so rare. Seeing her sing lead is kinda like seeing Bigfoot, although maybe not quite as rare lol
My Favorite on the new EP is Evolve followed in decending order by Animosity, Martirio, Z, Disciple and Choke. (I love them all though!) Thanks for the great reaction!
If you listen to the studio version, i believe Dany did the part that Ale sings live. When they do this live, someone besides Dany has to take that part because Dany is still finishing her last last note when Ale's part starts. In the studio, Dany could sing both parts separately.
What I like about a 3 piece band (lead, bass, drums) is that the bass doesn't get drowned out by two or more guitars or other instruments. The downside is that they have to be spot on all the time because mistakes can be accentuated. But when they're spot on like The Warning, then they're awesome.
@@TexanReacts I hear you! At the risk of aging myself, I got to see ZZ Top in concert in 74 at the old Texas Stadium at DFW and again in 76 in Denver. Check out Ayron Jones “Take Me Away” sometime when you’re able. Another 3 piece out of Seattle with Big sound.
I change my top three favorites from the EP almost daily lol. I think Choke has more sophisticated lyrics but Evolve rocks more. The Animosity live version recently released is a blast. Martirio is the most dramatic. DIsciple is the most complex in its various parts. I still don´t fully get Z, but it has probably the best guitar work by Dany. I dare to find many albums with 6 great songs ... and this is an EP with 6 out of 6!!! Great reaction, again.
Cheers Texan , we all have our own favourites but the young ladies rated this song about 11th favourite on the new album , Ale sings lead but only when reqiured , she sang lead on their song Hunter when they opened up for the band called Stryper , there is a video for that , many thanks !
Listening to Ale sing on multiple songs, to me she sounds like a young Chrissy Hynde of The Pretenders. She has a sweet soulful voice, and I think it will only get better and stronger as she matures. And her bass work on this new EP has reached another level of greatness. I have to say that Choke is my least favorite on the new EP, but I LOVE the song. So, you can tell how great I think this whole EP is! LOL
That is very good I never came up with Chrissy, Can you believe what would happen if ALE ever turned loose, I do believe it will happen but it's mind blowing. Dany Kicking it hard,Pau kicking it hard, And then you got Ale Belting One out, There's only super Startem next
Great reaction as always Tex. The 3 sisters deliver again. Never a doubt. A fan favourite that you have not reacted to is a song called Survive. This is pre QOTMS, Nethertheless, a great song and you will kick yourself of not listening to this song if play this at the concert. The best video of this song IMO is at a Ted talk show in 2017. The you tube video is 18 mins long and includes 2 other songs you have not reacted to. When I'm Alone and unmendable. This video includes the 3 sisters chatting about their lives and not yet signing to a label if you want to do a long reaction. Survive can be found by itself at this venue, but you miss the girls talking. Any bona-fide The Warning adores ALE singing, although she is great. ALE prefers to just do backing vocals unless Dany is unwell and cannot sing. ALE will step up. 🤘
Whatever song is playing is the best Warning song. 👍 Ale may not have any official studio lead tracks, but, she's no slouch in the singing department. Just search "The Warning, Ale sings lead" here on RUclips. But, imho, the best vocals from the sisters can't be found on any album. They're on what they give back to us fans during thier live streams. Dany's midnight shows, Pau singing creep, etc, etc. 🔥⚡🔥
Great reaction Texan! "Disciple" is my favorite from the Mayday EP. That rhythm section is rock solid. I think each Villarreal sister is aware of how talented her sisters are and is humbled to be part of such a great band. 🗣Enjoy your time in Austin! 👋🤠
Thanks! Another great live session at Victoria Studios (I thnk I got that right). For me all these performances are even better than the fantastic album versions! Just watching them play for real makes them better! Love Ale's bass here and her "solo". Of couse her shirt with the dinosaur on it is way cool, like her boots!
Gotta love that big Pau fill. I think that that's my favorite moment of the song, with Ale's little vocal solo being a very close second. The bass is vastly better than the original recording, but that's usually the case. This one's actually my least favorite; Evolve is my favorite. There's definitely no consistency in people's preferences, which speaks to just how strong all of their songs are.
they say of the 3 girls Ale probably sings in tune better than the other two. She just doesn't sing with the confidence and passion like Dany, but that may develop over time.
I wish I could see them in my home town of Austin, but I'll be seeing them instead here in Berkeley. I'd do both if I could, but obligations will likely keep me here. Either way, I've got a VIP ticket and I cannot freakin wait.
Great reaction! The bass in this video was amazing!! You want to hear Ale sing lead.... here you go- Red Hands Never Fade: ruclips.net/video/ADxbB5cEp9o/видео.html River's Soul (you need closed caption for the first couple minutes): ruclips.net/video/4vK6idVEy9g/видео.html Hunter: ruclips.net/video/kdA9HatBPc8/видео.html
I listen to this song a lot and have always been torn on the lower voice that acoompanies Dany's vocals, I know Ale sounds just like it when she sings the short part in this performance and other live performances but she is obviously not at the mic whn I hear that low voice when Dany sings, I know that they use backing tracks but I was thinking that she might also use an effect that lowers her voice an octave while doubling it. Anyone know anything about that?
I have seen a comment here about Ale surpassing Dany's voice if she wanted to, that's not nice and these are the comments which are not valid. While both Ale and Pau have great voices, how do you know for sure that Alejandra has the potential to surpass Daniela? Both Pau & Ale have said Dany has a higher range both low and high than them two. For instance this song Choke, it is not possible for Ale or Pau to sing the high notes. So please stop commenting stuff like this. Give credit to Dany for her hard work and belting beautifully with passion like she does. Plus Ale said it is hard for her to multitask especially with the new songs coz of her complex bass lines so she doesn't want to take up another responsibility of singing. Whereas Dany has been multitasking since she was 12. So give her some credit and don't always compare them. All 3 of them are amazing in their own way but Ale surpassing Dany in vocals is just not a valid comment in my opinion. TW 4 life :)
*Choke* for me is my least favourite song on the Mayday EP. I even like *Enter Sandman w/ Alessia Cara* better than *Choke.* But *Choke* isn't by far the least favourite song in The Warning's original song catalogue to me.
I can tell apart Dany's voice even if she's singing in the middle of a yelling crowd, so that 'reactor' was dead wrong.
They recorded 12 songs, released 6 and now it feels, like I want more.
Great reaction!
Dany's voice is beyond amazing!!
Ale is a bass playing machine and she also has a perfect pitch!
Pau is an awesome drummer as usual!
Viva The Warning !! ⚡⚡⚡
Z is a fun song. It's a departure of sorts. Reminds me of 'Rock Lobster'.
I played their EP at work and my coworkers fell in love with Dany’s voice. They’re all young and none of them listen to rock (they listen to pop and rap) so this music was NOT their taste. Yeah the reactor that said “Dany’s voice doesn’t stand out”, I 100% disagree wholeheartedly.
I think the "breathe in ,breathe out" part, Ale is singing back up in falsetto but I might be wrong.
Dany definitely has a distinctive, recognizable singing voice. I'd like to know what reactor said that she doesn't, so I can make sure not to be subscribed to their channel. Some of my favorite bands are 3-piece or 3 + a singer. Ex: Led Zeppelin and ZZ Top. BIG sound out of just 3 instruments.

Big fan of Dany’s voice in my view it easily unique. She has put in the time and continues to development. 🇲🇽🇨🇦🤘🤘

This is the order of Mayday :
1 - Disciple
2 - Choke
3 - Animosity
4 - Z
5 - Evolve
6 - Martirio

Evolve is my favorite too. I will not be in Austin but I do have VIP for Atlanta and Tampa

🤘🤘❤🤘🤘 This song is great. And pretty deep as well like the others!!! 😉❤✌🏼

Will be in Austin show. High expectations. 🔥🤘 #NumberlyGarfs
I told you Tex!! Surprise!! Lol not a lot of people outside TWA know that its Alé singing the bridge during the video/studio recording as well
Funny, I listened to the album version after this and could totally discern Ale's voice. That's awesome.
they say of the 3 girls Ale probably sings in tune better than the other two. She just doesn't sing with the confidence and passion like Dany, but that may develop over time.
Choke was first, then Evolve, then Martirio(sic), Disciple, Animosity, and last is Z.
Ale's base line is just killing it.
When people hear Alejandra sing they all get the same reaction. There hearts skip a beat.❣
I wish I could see them in my home town of Austin, but I'll be seeing them instead here in Berkeley. I'd do both if I could, but obligations will likely keep me here. Either way, I've got a VIP ticket and I cannot freakin wait.
The live session gives a better feel to how the vocals mix.
Great reaction! The bass in this video was amazing!! You want to hear Ale sing lead.... here you go-

Dani is the leader and a throwback to Joan Jett.
Ale has a really great voice the best
I love when she lets us hear it a bit.
Unlike so many bands, I think The Warning actually sound better live than their studio versions. Not everyone can pull that off.
Yea Daniela has a very particular voice, all the band is diferent, no body is like this band they are unique.
I agree. I love each of the sisters for what they bring to the table. All are very talented!
Not just another pretty face sings from her heart 🙏🐲🔥🐉🖤🌻⚡🦋🌍
Ale is the gohan of the warning does not want to sing despite having the potential to surpass daniela in the voice
*Choke* for me is my least favourite song on the Mayday EP. I even like *Enter Sandman w/ Alessia Cara* better than *Choke.* But *Choke* isn't by far the least favourite song in The Warning's original song catalogue to me.
