2:03 Karna Sets Out To Find A Teacher

    3:31 Parashuram's Curse
Karna’s goal was to learn archery and find out his true identity. He approached the famed teacher, Dronacharya. But Dronacharya was reluctant to teach a son of a charioteer. Dejected, Karna decided to find another master. He approached the great master, Parashurama. However this time, he decided that he would not return empty-handed. As Karna approached Parashurama’s hut, he saw a man who was chiselled by the gods, whose eyes burned with the flame of intensity. Awe-struck, Karna fell to his feet and pleaded with him to be his teacher. The great Parashurama only asked Karna one question:
    “Are you a Kshatriya?”
With a straight face, Karna lied to Parashurama and told him that he was a Brahmin.
Hearing this, Parashurama took Karna in. Karna was a brilliant student, and he seemed to have an inborn talent for archery. Parashurama was extremely pleased with Karna and taught him everything he knew, including how to use the devastating Brahmastra.
Parashurama put his head on Karna’s lap and fell into a deep sleep. Just then, Karna saw a scorpion approach them. However, Karna did not move as he didn’t want to wake his teacher up. He didn’t even flinch when the scorpion stung him. Karna did not move an inch. When Parashurama woke up, he noticed Karna’s leg was covered in blood. He immediately asked Karna what happened. Karna told him how a scorpion had stung him while Parashurama was sleeping on his lap. Parashurama’s anger knew no bounds and he accused Karna of being a liar. But Parashurama was furious, and in his extreme rage, he uttered a curse.

    Tragic hero really sells well.
But if you read Mahabharata you'll get some more info on him.
    From what I know
    1. "suta" doesn't mean sarthi ( charioteer) it means a Kshatriya with a Brahmin. Don't consider sarthi to be low at all it required very high techniques and understanding of strategies.
    2. His family was not that poor they were well off and his father was one the most respected in their village and had great contributions.
    3. Drona taught a lot of students along with royalties and karna was among them. But when it came to celestial weapons or mystic weapons only the royalties are taught that.Story of Eklavya is also there if we talk about caste, people think he was of lower caste that's why he was not accepted but there was a political aspect that they forget.
    4. But to be greatest archer Karna needed to learn it and went to Parashuram. He himself was born to a Brahmin and then become self taught Kshatriya. In defense of him Parshuram was always emotionally volatile which can be good and bad at the same time.
    5. Karna chose to lie which Parshuram couldn't accept from his greatest I believe disciple and cursed him.
    6. You can interpret this however you want it's a freedom we have.

Just to add, from what I've read.
Krishna did offer Karna the kingdom and that he could well be king since he is technically the eldest born, but Karna mentioned that parents are out of love and they are the ones who brought him up and took care of him when he was abandoned as a baby. And not his biological ones.
He even mentioned to Kunti, his biological mother, that I will not kill the other four Pandava brothers but it's either him or Arjun that is going to stay alive.
He was teased and treated wrong during his martial competitions and Duryodhana is the one who supported him, and even gave him the Kingdom of present day Bengal-Bihar.
Arjuna and Bhima made fun of him often, which later naturally turned into rage during Yudhishthir losing everything in gambling. He did later realise what he had done wrong.
Not to mention, he was heavily moved when he realised that his real mother abandoned him and had a sort of a mental crises.
Arjun got Draupadi's hand in the marriage too.
A lot of things to lead to hatred against Arjuna, and of course it is a dilemma. Who's side you feel is "right" or both equalise itself, is entirely on you.
Even though life was unfair to him, he was big donatee and believed in daan. He even gave his earrings his beautiful chest armour away something he was born with being the son of Surya (evem after being born), which could have protected him. Just because he wanted to help people.
After these developments and pondering on Karna's life choices, the divine Krishna, as well as a host of Mahabharata heroes, in private and after his death, honour Karna as a satpurusha (lit. "a true, honest, good man") and "the best among those who understand and uphold the Dharma.

Everything in the story stated is right except the reason for Dronacharya denying to teach the art of archery to Karna.
Dronacharya denied Karna not because he was a charioteers son but because he was hired by Bheesma to teach 105 kids from the royal family. So throughout his life he taught only the 105 kid's and never accepted anyone else as his student.
I am sure many will ask why he taught ashwatthama the art of warfare?
The answer to this is simple. The knowledge and assets of any individual can be passed on to their children and nobody can deny it.
Karna was taught by Parashurama who was also a Brahmin just like Dronacharya. Parashurama was a free Lancer and was free to teach anyone he wished but the same was not the case with Dronacharya.
The whole alligation of knowledge transfer was done only between Brahmin and Kshatriya and not to others is utter nonsense.

And it’s so stupid that people consider being a charioteer as a low profession just because the tv shows said so , but just think if being a charioteer was such a low profession then why would Arjun ask Krishna to be his charioteer in the war , wouldn’t it be a insult to Krishna, please do some actual research before making videos , your video has content from main stream media and television shows but it’s not authentic according to the original Mahabharat, if you are making theses videos at least have some knowledge in the original theory, and this is coming from someone who has read the original and authentic Mahabharat
