I love this drama too. As far as I know, yes this drama had less view than Yanxi Palace....but for me this drama won in story, acting, setting, etc....

As a foreign person, I like this more than Yanxi. For sure, I don't know how accurate this drama is but the acting, cinematography, the development is so solid for many characters. You will love them, hate them, and understand them regardless how evil they were. Plus, the costumes are VERY elegant and coordinated.

A report about the Emperor ordering her mentions and images being destroyed, plus an overall more respectful attitude toward the fact that females have more say than ever before with regard to self image means you need backed up references, i.e. from Professors in the field as personal references and proof of a PhD thesis title or book contract before you can see them.
