    I am a fairly new subscriber and I really love your channel. You have a great voice and I love your mic 🎙 cover. Your boss is beautiful and must think highly of you to leave you in charge and bring you a nice gift. I’m not a nomad but a retiree that hopes to hit the road in a camper van soon. I watch various van life and nomad channels to educate myself to be better prepared for the road. Thanks for your news show.

      NOMAD NEWS oh wow now you’ve just made my day! To have someone tell you that is such a great feeling. With all the negativity that can be put out in the world it’s great when anything positive occurs. Something as small as a compliment can truly make someone’s day. I’ve been told that RV’s, Nomads, Van lifers, etc are very friendly. I hope that’s the case and I’ll find out for myself one day. You’re a self described Nomad and seem great. Thanks for the well wishes. I know how busy you are so the personal well wishes mean a lot. ❤️🚐

    Hi 👋 👋🐾🐾
    Thanks for the shoutout and for joining my live chat!
    Im presently parked on a piece of private property located in a suburb of Chicago.
    Basically the site is primitive camping, but I am secluded with a nature atmosphere including deer 🦌, a coyote, and a huge hornets 🐝 nest!
    We are cohabiting well together so far....
    I will be back on the road here shortly, traveling around next 2 main destinations: Lolapalooza in Texas (Oct 24-27) and then on to Parker AZ for the Van Build Nov 8th.
    Great video today 👍! 👀

    Nothing special or unusual about this at all ...back in the late 60's and 70's same thing happened . Tons of us hit the road to check out the world . After a few years of living on the road the majority went back to sticks and bricks lives ,got jobs ,had kids etc.... There's still a few of us from that era still traveling because we were born with the genes for life-long road living... but most people simply are not born to travel ...

    Just got back from a nice trip in the Black Hills, even though our Roadtrek is nice and has everything we need, our house is 100 times more comfortable and convenient. Living full time on the road seems a lot harder to me. That's just me.

    • @NOMADNEWSTV
      @NOMADNEWSTV 4 года назад +1

      Not A Nomad Roadtreks are nice but small units. I think a larger Rig for a couple makes more sense, but it def jst depends on the couple. Everyone doesn’t have a Nomadic Spirit and in those cases a sticks and bricks is exactly what you need. I’ve owned a house in Dallas, have rented a flat in New York City, and a commercial live/work warehouse in LA. Living in my retired SnapOn Truck suits me jst fine. Once I get the conversion completed it will suit me even better

      Nomad NewsTV, yes sir, I chose the Roadtrek so I could park it at home in our city. Even at that I had to raise the header 4" for clearance. We have a nice house that is paid off so we use the Roadtrek for short trips for biking or hiking. Take care.

    The problem with a majority of the “wanna be nomads” come onto the scene with the intention of making their riches on RUclips and have their primary support from subs and PayPal/Patreon. I’ve got a ton of respect for the true “Nomads” who don’t ask for a “tip” or contributions because they receive their ad money.
    People who go on the road prepared with a savings and an income behind them to self sustain deserve to go about and live life on the road and enjoy it!
    Too many want to live glamorous vacation lives full time when they haven’t earned it. Pumping drama and telling people your problems for “sympathy money” like so many we have seen do really don’t belong. They are convinced what they do is a “Business” well it isn’t. Working for a network and being paid to do work while vacationing (the lucky few) who manage to get a job on Discovery and such belong there.
    But the 2-3 year nomad life is either make or break and usually they break because they can’t garner enough views and fail trying to get donations for living expenses. Liberal movement and people who truly don’t want to work a 9-5 to earn and live shouldn’t expect everyone else to give them cash to record their lives. Reality TV is going downhill now and this movement of get an RV and expect people to enjoy their boring talking head channels while they drive from one casino or abandoned space to park and make it by is going south fast and more and more states are going to make it too difficult to allow it. It’s already started and it’s going to get worse.

    • @NOMADNEWSTV

      Alter Egos Jesus, talk about doom and gloom. Nomadic Fanatic was one of those that was always having some mechanical issues. I even remember watching him shed tears when his transmission went out on the Tiago. He ended up with enough in donations to buy a whole other RV.
      I was raised to never ask for money and I never have once on either one of my channels. I’m never showed any kind of drama on my channels but Nomadic Fanatic has 200k subs and me the guy who’s never asked for a penny can’t even break the 10k sub mark. It is what it is people love the drama.

    • @alteregos8949
      @alteregos8949 4 года назад +5

      NOMAD NEWS not “doom and gloom” as you would classify me, I’m a realist and honestly I see the glass as half full. People can’t handle truth and the sad part is truth usually isn’t pretty.
      Yes you have met many of the nomads and have relationship with them which puts you into a different perspective. I’m not calling the money seekers “bad people” many of them are probably great people to talk with and such but that doesn’t excuse their ethics and morals.
      Too many have scammed the community for money and do it on a regular basis. You can say you see if differently which is fine I won’t bash you for it. But Eric is a con artist and has been from day one and the scam with Tilly really shot him to the stratosphere of con. He did those people dirty and he tries to say we are all liars but there is too much proof showing it. He’s a victim of his own circumstances but the old folks for love of that cat of his will hang the moon on whatever he says.
      You and I can have an intelligent conversation but you are a working Nomad who doesn’t have anticipation of everyone else take care of your financial needs. That puts you above and I hope your channel does grow leaps and bounds and you exceed your $1100 a month goal. Merit and hard work is something I recognize and respect. Otherwise I wouldn’t comment here :)

      Oh, no believe me man I have seen the the shady stuff that’s went on with many many Nomads RUclips channels and it’s puts us all in a bad light. I know all the history of what went on with Tilly and the stickers so I get it believe me. You’re actually very correct most will never make enough to support themselves on the road without Patreon or donations. I jst want to do it with views I’m not into taking money from people to view my videos. Im free Network TV, not cable news. I appreciate your kind words I’ve never had much luck with this RUclips thing but I keep thinking someday my luck will turn around and if it doesn’t I’ll keep my days job

    • @alteregos8949
      @alteregos8949 4 года назад

      Patriot Jefferson that’s another loophole in our system. Many find any and all exploits that were originally designed to help for a purpose. Not to be exploited for personal gain at the cost of the taxpayers.
      Many of the bigger RUclipsrs take in money all year tax free and then write off expenses for everything at the end and then get huge tax returns.
      Fuel and mileage are a huge deduction and it’s why people like Justin Scarred and his pal Adam take the Route 66 tour every year to document it for proof they did it and then write off every dime. To me it’s extortion of the taxpayers. They vacation all year and we all pay for it.

    I agree with you when you said most nomads go back to sticks and bricks after a few years of nomad life or do the van life thing on & off. I've been a nomad/vanner 5 and a half years (but moved around a ton my whole life). Yes, vanlife has its perks and you're livin the dream. But....i think deep down we all naturally would like to plant some roots some where even if it's part time. It is the best of both worlds if your can park your rig on private property. Other wise the hustle & bussel of nomad life can be wearing on a person from time to time depending what else is going on in their life. Sometimes things in your life change and yes, a permanent address is nice to have and other times things change and doing nomad life is the way to go for that stint of time.

      I have lived in Boquete many years. Some newbie errors and omissions. It does get into the 80s here and more rarely in the low 90s. Mostly in the seventies, but not 365 days a year. What isn't said is some years 200 inches of rain/yr. daily electrical interruptions, severe water shortages in some areas, and incessant winds in the dry season. Humidity high enough to rust all your tools, and the contacts on your car horn. A highway fatality and murder rate in multiples of the US. I generally like it here, but it is not paradise (nowhere is).

    I find that many RV nomads that are also RUclipsrs seem to touch on this subject quite often...especially if they are millennials that are traveling before they settle down and have families. I think many of the the younger folks like the attention and the adventure, but they also feel the biological clock ticking and many of them settle down to raise families. Kaylee and Jordan are an example of this in my opinion. They have been talking for two years about settling down and starting their own "tiny home community" and I think they have found a place that suits their living life dream as well as allowing them to raise a family.
    On the other hand, I see a lot of YTers that post video titles such as, "Am I Done With Van Life?", "Is This the End of the Road?", "Are We Calling it Quits?", etc. Many of these titles turn out to be click-bait. They pontificate about some issue in their life for 10-12 minutes and then two days later they're back to publishing videos about their travels.

    OK you need to stipulate where in California you keep describing because majority of L.A. areas are way too warm to be staying in your car all day in summer....the weather you're describing is misleading.....

      I did stipulate and I’m not talking about staying in your car I’m talking about staying in your van or RV. I’ve been doing for going on three years.
