Danno, I am in Grovetown Ga. and guess what? It is snowing, yes, but it will turn to rain Before long and then that will mean ice on the road’s and bridges and that will mean dangerous conditions for drivers. I don’t know how long this will last but I wanted to share. Cause it doesn’t happen often.. yes, my heart goes out to the people in California, it is heartbreaking and there is no end in sight. @@blanchenickelson154 I feel really sad for the people of California, the loss and devastation is unimaginable since I live in the Midwest. Hey Danno! Up here 70 miles north of Columbus, 4 53 a doz for eggs limit 2! I was mind blown. I have chickens, I won't be paying that. Find some farm fresh eggs, most places have a sign out.
Aldi's has "Great" prices. I'm a frequent flyer at Aldi's. If you want to save money on your food shopping this is the store. Delicious condiments, barbecue sauces etc.
Eggs will just sit until the price comes down. You can use flaxseed and water to be equivalent to an egg in baking. Also, mayonaise is made up of oil and eggs that works in baking. Mayo moisten the food. It's great in banana bread. Stocking up on mayo because it could go up due to bird flu .

I haven't been grocery shopping since before Christmas. I've stopped buying just because it's on sale. Working on eating out of my pantry that was stocked during the pandemic!
Houston here. I volunteer at my church food pantry so love seeing the prices since we always need MORE food. Members give food regularly but it never seems like enough so me and others who see the shortfall often bring in food to fill the need. Always looking for the best prices and this is so helpful. Thank you….new sub here
Aldi has their short run items for a week. Sometimes, when the new stock comes in, they have only a few items left from last week and they will discount them hugely. You could also approach the manager at any supermarket, explain that you're buying for the food bank and ask if they have any leftover Thanksgiving or Christmas packaged food items in their store rooms. Sometimes they'll take seasonally packaged items off the shelf and will sell them at a big discount or donate them. Some of them you may not want, like candy, but things like small canned items meant for hampers are good for a single person.
Good Morning Danno & Jess ! Great price on the Avocado oil . So many varieties of tea. I don’t think my Aldi has such a large selection. But it’s been a few weeks since I’ve shopped at Aldi . It’s been Costco and Publix. My husband likes a bakery treat each week and Publix has a great bakery ( as you know) . So we end up buying a few things at Publix each week . Most of Costco desserts are too big for my husband and me . And we don’t like the selection of desserts at Aldi ( though we do like their candy selection ). Publix we buy the BOGO’s and sale items or brands that other stores do not carry. We need to make a trip to Aldi for pork chops and Salmon. Stay warm you too !! I can’t believe you’re getting another snowstorm ❄️❄️❤️
Blessings Dude and Lady from snowy Chicago. We are just getting a few inches. I told a person in my grocery, if she was not brand loyal, the gravy packs she was stocking up on were much cheaper at Aldi. She put them pack and said she had to pick something up at Aldi anyway. Juices at Aldi are more than 50% less then other grocery stores. I use them to flavor my kombuchas.❤❤
The traditional refried beans are always better. If you make them yourself, adding lard makes them taste a lot better. I'd check prices here, but I'm staying home and living from our pantry. Cuz I can!
Our local Aldi has a limit on eggs and large milk cartons. Late last year I saw a local cafe employee buying more than 15 dozen eggs and they had the trolley filled with 2 layers of milk cartons. If every local cafe did that there'd be no milk and eggs for anyone else
@katv1195 industrial suppliers are way more expensive. There is a smoothie shop near me and the owner sends his staff to buy carts of fruits and veggies for the store.
@poppykok5 I love miracle whip for potato and pasta salads 😀 But For sandwiches, and using as a coating for poultry before rolling in flour Hellmann's is my secret ingredient.
I wish they'd make the Winn Dixie prices lower. Aldi bought WD and my small town only has that store as a real grocery store. I left the other day with $20 worth of items and paid $80 for it...and I don't buy name brand. 😩
When I see the “this is unbelievable” title I know prices are going down and it’s awesome or… we are all about to go broke 😂 laughing because otherwise I’m just crying 😭
I used to love shopping at Kohl's but the last several years the quality of their clothes went way down and prices kept going up so I quit buying there. Sad to see them go, wish they had just kept their standards up.
Kohl’s clothing is terrible now! My most favorite thing in my closet is a dark olive green Sonoma brushed cotton velvet jacket from the 2010s, which still looks great after so many years of regular wear, the high quality of which cannot possibly compare to anything they carry in their stores now.

I could never find a can of refried beans I liked so I turned to buying Fritos bean dip instead and that stuff is the perfect substitute, its delicious 😋
I’m going to Aldi today, before it snows tomorrow. I think Aldi is still a good deal around here. Avocados are really expensive, the TP has gone up again, but the peppers are a great deal there. The oil prices there are much better than other stores, I can’t speak to the quality or if it’s pure olive oil for real, but it definitely costs less.
Eggs are still $5.99-$7.00 a dozen here on Cape Cod. Prices haven’t budged. Scary. Thank you for what you do. We appreciate you. Take care from Cape Cod. Stay safe and warm with the weather coming in✌️🇺🇸
Im glad I stocked up on everything I could in November and Dec, new AC unit and upright freezer beforethings like that went up 30% Jan 1st. Aldi goes give us the better deal to stock up!
I don't know what is so shocking about prices at Aldi's but they save me tons of money. So if the prices are too high for you, then maybe you will be shopping someplace else or many places to get the best prices. I am sticking with Aldi's for things I need. I might stop at another store in my town for something I want specifically that Aldi doesn't have but I like the prices there.

I gotta get a ride to Aldis l, we don’t have one in n the island here so I have to shop at Kroger if I don’t get a ride and Krogers most of the time and it is too expensive. Aldi is my favorite grocery store! I love all your videos but especially Aldi and Walmart. Would you and your sweet wife consider doing more recipe videos?
I shop at Aldi all the time. It’s a great place to buy produce and cheese, and canned goods. Some of their meat is priced well, and frozen products. Bacon is very inexpensive, and very good.
Walmart sells the crate. Sometimes that works. I have to be cheaper and when there’s an egg shortage usually that’s the age you can find. You can take those eggs out of the shell whip them up and put them in little Ziploc baggies and freeze them. Take them out the night before for breakfast and now you have scrambled eggs add your cheese, milk, mushrooms whatever you want to eat. I also do it for freezing for baked itemsand they’re generally good for four months.
Oh my I went to get eggs two weeks ago the egg were $ 2.94 on 1/6 /25 eggs are 6.99 cage free are 12.99 😮 I told my son we won't be eating eggs for a while but for baking I can use flaxseed in place of eggs im in California.
I started to shop Aldis. The fruit is really cheap last Sunday got dozen eggs 1.89. Their brands are good,,i love Bama mayonnaise.....lot things i bought you mentioned. I like can reuse bags an no plastic...
I found in my area that most of the items we eat are more expensive than the GV branded items at walmart. It absolutely blew my mind because Aldi used to be the cheapest for everything. We now shop at every store in town by price comparing on all their apps first to try to get us fed for a reasonable price. Luckily, all of our stores are within a mile or two from one another on the main road so its easy to store hop 😂
We have Aldis here near Saratoga Springs NY but I'm not too familiar with it. Thanks to you, my hubby and I are going to check it out. Do you happen to know if they accept OTC Healthcare cards? 😊We just started watching your channel and like it ! Very informative.
The parking lots at your stores look really good after all that snow. I'm in Chicago. We have not gotten hit yet this year, but I have to say, our lots are a crap show til it melts basically after every big snow. They salt, and just leave the 5 inches of slush. Not good plowing.
In St louis County. Staying in due to snow last night and today. Got around an inch or 2 more in addition to what we had. Eggs for 3.99 a dozen at Dierbergs here.
Just to show how people are when there is an imminent weather event coming. My daughter and her husband went to Wal Mart on Friday morning to get some milk and a few personal items and all of the eggs were gone! And you know how high the prices of eggs are. I guess the eggs have taken the place of toilet paper this year. FYI: We got a little rain and some sleet Friday night here in the Sandhills of North Carolina. No snow at all.
Good morning Danno and Jess! Our KY Aldi was half empty. Maybe the bad roads in KY is delaying trucks or the storm warning of 6 inches is freaking people out. They were out of most fresh veggies. No organic ketchup. Best ketchup anywhere. Only couple pkg of 100% grass feed beef. Awesome hamburger. Never seen the store that empty. Even when we had over foot of snow in 2016. Stay safe and inside with Frank 🥰 and Jess.
I think the store had a supply line issue, they closed so many roads due to ice , pull up YTs on KC ice and you' all see the insanity of people driving on skating rink smooth ice
the eggs were $5.59 at aldi's in clinton twp MI, I think all the $4.00 stuff should be more like $2.00 and $2.00 items should be more like $1.00. The meats and chicken were sky high so I passed it all by along with the eggs.
I’m well stocked with food and planned to see how long I can eat without going to the grocery for anything but perishables. But with these prices, I’m tempted to continue to stock up. Maybe this is the 7 years of plenty before the 7 years of famine!
That is a possibility! When I decide not to shop the grocery, I try to keep a list of all the things I've used from my pantry so I can replace them at the end. Helps me a lot!

Those green peas are the only thing I've been really disappointed in. They were hard and crunchy.
Maybe you could just replace what you are using, or already used. Looks like prices are going to continue to rise. 😢
I do not like happy farms cream cheese . Just doesn't taste like cream cheese.
Will not buy that cream cheese, it's awful, I bought it for a cheesecake once , ruined my cheesecake.
@conniemccollam2605 exactly
@conniemccollam2605 and I never buy the cheese by that brand
