Placebo. I have a Highlander too (Kluger here in Australia) and have taken it on loose sand with others in serious 4WD vehicles. It did make it without getting bogged down, but could;ve been better with a little more ride height. I did reduce pressure to 16psi and disable all the traction control stuff (press traction button for ~3 sec) and went without engaging the center diff lock. Just one thing... dude do not drive with ANY diff locks ON on the pavement.
Just bought a 2019 hybrid limited platinum. And realized after the purchase it has no awd control button at all… even though it is awd. I was planning on using it on a few dirt roads and possibly on sand a couple of times. Am I screwed ?
Forgot my manners...would like a proper comparison of FWD of the Highlander if possible on both of the 4 and 6 cylinder engines in hilly conditions or very poor roads or inclines...thanks in advance.
Once you click the CDL the light comes on the dashboard but after a while it goes away, what does that mean that’s it’s off ? and how do you take it off or does it do it automatic
Placebo.

Greetings boss. Is it possible to show FWD performance of the Highlander in hilly terrain?

Does it drain your battery 🪫?
What if the Diff button you press and it cannot switch on the Awd
Diff lock kicks out at 15mph
Is there a way to make it stay in over 15?
@@patriot2764 as far as I know its controlled by the ecm....

I believe it shuts off once you go over 25mph
With centre lock on you cant go pass 40km/h. Car must be neutral before in lock. Track control must be off too
It has open diffs and i do not see usefullness of center diff lock.
Mine doesn’t have one. Can y’all install one?
Not worth it
I have on my board AWD system defaulting
