I still love this game, 20 years later. Tried so many times unsuccessfully to play a perfect game by being all 7 players at once. My favorite “You are the Weakest Link! Goodbye!” Is when the player gets 4 votes (46:44). So much sass from Anne.
I recently beat weakest link for ps1 on junior difficulty and the bullshit would happen to me I'd get voted off for not answering questions fast enough or get voted off for being the strongest link THIS GAME CHEATS!!
@@Green-Raccoon777 in addition to that also the player is unable to look up answers to questions on the internet to therefore gain an unfair advantage. what negates this is the fact your on a time limit so failure to answer questions at the appropriate speed will lead to you being voted off. so absolute prior knowledge is needed to answer these questions everything needs to be premeditated in order to succeed. and even on junior difficulty the questions are hard but given this was the easiest difficulty I never quite understood why in the "bend the rules menu" did it say normal difficulty questions even though I was playing on the easiest difficulty xD
I like when Cindy did the walk of shame because she said "I don't think I should've be voted off. No way. I produced, banked money for the team answered correctly. I maybe got one or two wrong, but so did everyone else. I think this whole thing has been a waste of my time.

I cant believe they used the same models and just changed the voices from the UK to USA editions of the game. Its like the names changed a little too. Jojo was Ravi in the UK, Cindy was Angela and Allen was Austin. Also according to this game Guildford in Surrey is the equivalent to Nevada Las Vegas. Because that was where Jenny was from. As someone who visits Guildford often as it is where my father works, it is not.

I never heard of the game show that this video game is based on, but this looks cool. It's strange that this PlayStation 1 version was the only version of this game to be released in North America as the PlayStation 2 release has superior graphics, etc. I will be sure to include the PlayStation 2 version of this game as a fake North American NTSC front cover in Part 4 of My Custom North American NTSC PlayStation 2 Game Release Front Covers Slideshow video series. Nevertheless, great job!

Kyle Stubbs To make the game tougher; you'll need to actually know the answer to get it right as opposed to see four complete answers and making a logical guess
This show used to be awesome, but then they moved it to syndication and replaced the host, and it became as terrible as Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? is.
Anne Robinson remained hosting here in the UK up until 2012. We had two versions of it. A cheap daytime version and a US style prime time version. Both ended when Anne Robinson quit, as it was so heavily based around her persona that the BBC just decided that it couldn't continue with anyone else presenting. Millionaire was similarly axed last year, after original host Chris Tarrant quit.
+Coldclough - The difference between the two didn't hugely bother me, but I didn't like how they continued to produce the daytime version in the same low budget style alongside the prime time version. Once it established on BBC One as a serious contender to Millionaire, they should have discontinued the original cheap version and concentrated solely on making it a thorn in ITV's side. They did exploit it, but not as much as they could have done, and the BBC Two version dragged it back a little.

That's actually a valid strategy in a real episode since that eventually leaves only the true weakest links to deal with the further down you go.
