Nice, spent 2 summers here 86 and 87 at the top of the Hill camping May through to end of Oct with an Aussie bloke. Met some great people who I'm friends with still now. Still get down there in summers and see Chris Roynan and Essex Tyler on the beach with their kids. Great place, far too crowded these days what with the internet.

Strike mission can mean what ever ya like. Striking a swell, around multiple spots at home, is equally as plausible for 'real' surfers than the pros forking out for last minute flights to the middle of nowhere.
