Beautiful cards, looks like a complicated system. I will be interested in your further review.
It's very 'Gormenghast' but I respect the thought and talent that went into it. Not something I can see myself using but fun, nonetheless.
These are really interesting cards. I'd like to know more about the severed head, what it means. I'm somewhat taken aback by the violence in it, but still wonder how it would interpret.
Face your inner Moth Simon- you will find beauty and freedom!!!!!🦋( I'm really a moth)
I can't wait to see your follow-up. I have absolutely no experience with playing cards, this looks really interesting for a beginning altough it seems to be a little on the dark side
Omg. They are €45!
Is that bad or good?
I think it’s because of the production quality
WOW I love this deck 🤩it went straight on my wish list😅 thanks for sharing Simon 🙏🏻
Love this! 🧡
😱😍❤️and the📖😍
I really do like this deck and that’s from someone who generally doesn’t like playing cards. The artwork is beautiful and very much my thing, the book looks really amazing and I am sure will be a great read. This may have to go on my wish list, thank you for showing it my friend 😍❤️
Yes, the artwork really is what makes it!
You should maybe edge the borders in a gold color, it would match nicely I guess with the red and the black cards, and even the back of the cards. Plus, all the cards have a touch of gold on them 😊
Im tickled by how much you like this deck because I certainly fell head over heels in love with it last week! In fact, saw it, watched Ana’s initial videos on it and how she described bits of the inner realms, bought it and haven’t been able to put down the book. LOL I love Tarot and other types of oracle decks but never wanted to explore “playing cards” as a divinatory tool - until now. Playing cards always felt so left-brain and sort of shallow or hollow to me. Maybe that’s a blessing now because I’m probably going to only adhere to the deep realms and dimensions of how Ana and CJ “saw” playing cards. 😊 Enjoy and I look forward to your follow-up on this deck! Blessings!
I can see why you love it so much!
Wow, this is so unique and exciting, it definitely makes me curious 👍🏻
I hope you will make a deep dive video into and about this deck for us once you have worked yourself into it ? 🙏🏻
Follow the dark moth… “do we have to”? 😂 sorry, I know how much you don’t like them 🙈 but truly, what a BEAUTIFUL deck/review. As always, appreciate you and your content so very much 🤗
This is AMAZING!! I'm super fan of Ana Cortez work. She developed a system that is the heart of cartomancy. When I was looking to learn this type of divination, I couldn't find something that made sense about how to read the cards without it being related to the tarot until I came across Ana Cortez y the playing card Oracle 🔥❤️ I recommend 💯
I think Simon you should edge it in a mustard colour gold!!! 😍😍😍🥰🥰🥰☺️☺️☺️💞💞💞
Fun to see a new approach to playing cards and a Father/Daughter duo makes this one so special! Thanks for sharing :)
These do look very nice and all, but I'll be interested to see if they're any different than her original Playing Card Oracles Deck. I was learning tarot and lenormand when I got those and it was just too different to study at the time.
Darn my cell phone reception is on and off. These look great.
Simon, have you had any time to work with this deck since this video? I'd be very interested in your experience beyond a first impression. The deck looks wonderful.
Only a little , so far!
SIMON you know how I love Playing Cards, I didn't even get 3 minutes into your review went to Amazon my Deck will be arriving tomorrow. I can't wait The Guide book and Cards look Amazing ❤
I'm looking at the Deck and it looked familiar, Ana Cortez put out a Similar deck. This is her advanced Deck . I have the Original Playing Cards version 🥰
You’ll have to let me know what you think when you get them! 😍
These cards are absolutely gorgeous! I was thrilled to see Medusa and Vlad especially. How exciting to have a new system to learn! Please do make another video after you've worked with them for a bit.
Does anyone know if this deck is the same as Cortez’ alchemy deck? I’ve been looking for it and it’s not even on Ana’s website
Not heard of that!
@@the_hermits_cave some of the cards are definitely the same but others different😊
What a Powerful, stimulating deck. It does need edging I can't make up my mind if black or half half maroon and black. Probably I would match to the dark woodgrain look of the backs- just love the Lions head🦁
Some of the art remids me of Anna K. I don't use playing cards much but it sounds like this has an interesting 'system' with it. Thanks for sharing, Simon!
You’re very welcome ☺️
I have this on my Amazon wish list 🙂 It is gorgeous. I own an early playing card deck by this pair, it is beautiful too. It was released in 2006. Playing Card Oracles Deck & Book Set
I wasn’t aware of the earlier deck until I read these comments. I’ll have to check them out. 😍
Stunning😊
Oh wow. I don't think I see this kind of art style in cards a lot. I'm really digging the feels. 😳
Me either! It’s certainly a unique addition to my collection 😍
