I think you misunderstood what Miller said. He said Julie wanted to take the weapon so they wouldn't use it on belters, not that it doesn't work on belters (I mean how would he or Julie know what that thing does or doesn't do to different body types). Also that theory you had about "The 4th Group" was really funny, but that's like half the fun of this show, trying to come up with theories on your own no matter how outlandish they might be.
Before I heard of the books I thought Amos was an ex-Protogen employee, like a mercenary who went through the magnet-into-psycho procedure and then got amnesia or something.

Keep in mind the show started filming in 2014 and back then streaming networks were pretty new and nobody except Netflix had a working formula yet. The show itself was owned by Alcon and SyFy aired it. Netflix also aired it for a while so SyFy did not have exclusive rights. As a result the only metric they could measure success was on air watch time and who really watches a specific tv show at 7.30pm every night anymore? That's the very short version; The Expanse was a casualty of viewers going from broadcast TV to streaming TV.
Just one sentence without spoiling anything. The end of the Julie sequence - sometimes in this show you are fully understanding a scene only after several episodes. It is a proverbial long burner and I love it for that.
It's 300 years in the future, and everybody has a personal supercomputer in their pocket. Yet every time we saw Frank, he was scribbling in his notebook with these archaic little graphite pencils. That was enough to pique Crisjen's curiosity. Back in ep. 5 Naomi told us that the material Roci's program modules are made of, as well as comms devices, was Graphene. Close enough that the pencil cores could serve as thumb drives. No mechanism, no electronics, innocuous and undetectable. Frank deGraf...superspy. Note what Frank's pencils tell Crisjen. "No tracking data available."
You'll see in the next episode. The "bioweapon" works on everybody, and most of the victims are belters because they're the majority of the population on Eros

Amazon and Netflix were showing the episodes on their platform after they aired on SyFy. The show was popular but people wanted to watch when ever they wanted and not have to watch it live on a broadcast network. SyFy wasn't making their money back so they ended their contract after three seasons.

But she's dead because of his actions. He set this thing in motion. He didn't intend for her to die but the same can be said of a drunk driver. They don't intent to kill people but thier actions have consequences and they know it and make the decisions anyway.
Hard radiation is generally gamma rays and higher. Worse than all of the x-ray exposure you are likely to experience in your life (I hope) even with treatments for cancer. At this point, Holden and Miller are still walking, but short of major medical intervention (including chelation therapy), they are going to die in horrible pain in the next few hours.

In a high-tech world like that of The Expanse, the average person would not look twice at a wooden pencil, which makes them perfect for concealing flash drives that you don't want the wrong person to find.
I would recommend Battlestar Galactica from Sci Fy. It's a little old but it was a great show. The second best thing they've produced. The first being The Expanse of course.

You keep calling the protomolecule a bioweapon, because that is what Holden and Miller see it as, however, they have no more idea what it actually is than Mao or Dresden do.
Also, curious of your thoughts on the accents. Where in the world, if you had to guess, do people talk or speak in that certain way? Or how many different English accents do you hear? Then, I understand the bioweapons in a nice way.
