    For starters, this is the Baobab Singers' version of Dschinghis Khan's "Moskau." You can look up the song's history yourselves, but basically it was originally written to be played at the Moscow Olympics about 30 years ago, which is probably why the melody was chosen for this parody.

    also, a list of the series featured in the video would be nice. I've only recognized a few of them.

    I'll do my best to translate it for you guys, but my Japanese kinda sucks, so it'll only be a rough translation. However, you should at least be able to understand the song's context. I'll provide each verse in romanji accompanied by the English translation. Stupid 500-character posting limit's gonna suck though.

      The audio in question was a special version of Moskau made by Baobab, a voice acting agency that managed voice actors and voice actresses like Masako Nozawa and Toru Furuya. It was most likely made to cheer on the Japanese team during the Olympics, not sure what year though.

    Har har, I like how it shows a picture Muska during the chorus where it sings "Moskau" XD

    Boo, I can only reconize three of the anime-type thingers in this video: Castle in the Sky, Astroboy, and Doraemon. I need to watch more retro animes, I guess. :V

    Judging by the lyrics, I'd say it was a single recorded by seiyuus to encourage the Japanese people and athletes for the 1982 Moscow Olympics.

    I'd like to know the context of the japanese version of the song.

    • @Taneuma_563
      @Taneuma_563 9 месяцев назад

      The song is voice actors/actresses from Studio Baobab (think Masako Nozawa and Toru Furuya) cheering on for the Japanese team in the Olympics while saying what characters and shows they voice act in (at the time of when the audio was produced, most likely the late 70s).
