  • In this episode I'm going to take you through the Freeheel Life ritual of The Smelly Kneepad. Where skis can't be over 70mm underfoot and must be 200+ cm in length. All bindings must be pre-G3 Targa i.e. 1997 or earlier. Leather boots only, but plastic cuffs are acceptable.
    I also share some of my thoughts about the history of Telemark, why it's important, and why often times it's not always the best idea to fight against history in the name of progress.

    The original Terminator (winter of ‘92-‘93) did not spell the end of the SuperComp…they existed side-by-side for quite a few years through the mid-to-late ‘90’s. I loved my SuperComps and had a hard time transitioning to plastic and the lack of “feel” compared to leather.

      Yeah that's probably a better way to explain the transition period for sure. Hell people still ski them. Thanks for chiming in.
