@Noah McAteer i agree that he didn’t intend to hurt Scottie but all the other plays are dirty and intended to rough up the Toronto players. And with this embiid injury everyone is calling pascal a dirty player and if he is (which he isn’t) then they should acknowledge that Joel is a dirty player.

Imo it was only a basketball play and he himself also apologized to embidd right after, leaning to make me believe that he didn’t intend to do so.

@@asero021584 This series had nothing to do with any Raptor failing to close. The only close game was a buzzer luck shot from Embiid. Other than that Pascal was finishing when it was needed. But as a team we played horrible D in 3 games. That needs to be more consistent as a team.
@@sampson3121 What I meant as a closer, is someone who can make a bucket when they need it most. Or defensive plays. Pascal has been inconsistent being that guy. If you look at the 2019 run, Kawhi was that guy for their team. Going on a shooting drought second half of Game 6 for as long as they did, and some questionable calls by the refs, is a recipe for disaster. They play better defense when their shots are dropping.
@@asero021584 He came through in 2021-2022 season BIG time. He carried the team for months. Scottie can be the guy for sure. I can't wait to see him destroy the paint seeing as he said he's going to work on his weight and strength this off season.
Either way the Raps are going to be a monster team next season holding top 4 teams in the east for sure. Maybe even 1 and 2nd most of the season.

This is for some of the raptors fan. Not all but some. Don’t try to act innocent and don’t act like raptors don’t got problems too. Some of y’all always have a problem with a nba player. But at least hope he has a safe recovery just like y’all would want someone to say “have a safe recovery” to the raptors when someone gets injured on their team. It’s just called respect.
76ers fans booed Scottie who got hurt when Embiid caught his face & then got him with a kick for a dirty foul. Embiid didn't try to contest the dunk attempt but fouled him hard instead. Scottie gets a soft flagrant call for bumping Maxey navigating a screen, almost a make up call to please the home fans.
Then Embiid stepped on Scottie foot, Philly fans cheered as Scottie got carried out. Philly fans online saying it's Karma for Maxey.
Also Embiid elbowed Birch in the face in Game 1 who didn't play after, injured Thad Young, hard foul then stepped on Scottie in Game 1.
People forget there was talk of physicality from the Raptors before the series and Embiid made it a point to be very physical in game 1.
Embiid all series was playing dirty and kept using his elbow to create space.

What I can't wrap my mind was the Philly faithful booing there team in game 5. Real fans will ride or die with their team. My main gripe with Embiid is when his squad is winning, he'll taunt the opposing team. But when it's the other way around, he salty AF. I mean, if you're going to dish it out, you best better be able to take it as well.
Real fans will actually let their team hear it when they don't give effort. Philly didn't even show up to play in Game 6 and 7. Fans pay absurd amounts of money and the players get payed absurd amounts of money, so the least they owe the fans is an honest effort. It's one thing to be beaten, it's another thing to beat yourself.

Teams near the border hate there Raptors because there have been countless times when in Golden State, Detroit, New York...hell even Miami...where the Raps were winning and there were a TON of Raptors fans and you could hear them screaming...Lets Go Raptors...over the native fans to the arena. Yeah, consider yourself schooled. Raptors fans are absolutely some of the best fans in the NBA. Period.
