It's so heartwarming to know that these chaps have found something they really love and can find peace in, even if other people find it slightly odd. I certainly can't say the same
U know toxic masculinity exists when there's no stigma against girls watching shows meant for the male demographic e. g. Dragonball z. But there's a stigma for guys watching shows for girls. Either way you'll still get judged for doing anything, so just live your life and be happy.
Hahaha they’re really enjoying it and I feel happy for them. Let’s hope the world will be more open and accepting. People should be able to do what they love without anyone judging them.
They’re really brave to be so open about this, where other guys gets mad when people tease them a little for their masculinity (that probably don’t exist in the first place). Honestly I could never find courage like theirs. Although it’s disheartening to hear that they get bullied for it, I hope they continue to do whatever they like without getting influenced by society’s standards, which is something not many people can do these days.
@@Adwinshoots hey Adwin! You and your friend should keep on rockin that Bronie life. I'm proud your courage. What's not to like about MLP? It's cute and they teach good values. @@CloudRunnerRex dude what the hell is wrong with you ? And of the day it my and yes my choice I was the one who choose this road I was the one to choose to bring them out . Still dare to say that to us ?
i’m from Malaysia and it is so beautiful to read all of these comments here. i wonder how would it be if these guys are from Malaysia. There’ll be tons of comments full of hatred. Malaysian netizens are so fucked up.
MLP:FiM has had a pretty long run and now it's in its final season. It's crazy to think that 8-9 years ago, this show would have caught the interest of men and brought about a pretty large fanbase, all things considered.
I swear to god not all of us are like this. Sure, I have plushies, sure I enjoy the show, but my life certainly does not revolve around them, nor do I "bring them out" or take photos with them. Being a brony is being a fan, not being obsessed. This certainly is not what I'm "born to do" either. This is a show. The term brony is used to describe any fan of the show that wants to be labelled as such, like a Potterhead, or a Swiftie or a Trekkie. The show is coming to an end, and that most certainly does not mean that my life is coming to an end. I know these two people, in real life, and I know for a fact that these two have so much more to them than just ponies. WE'RE FANS, WE'RE NOT PSYCHOS.
So you're implying that they're psychos? They definitely sound more sane than you tbh. Geez, the self-righteousness in this. It's not an attack on you, calm your titas.
@@brysonszy6306 Nah, people are like 𝘦𝘦𝘬 𝘸𝘦𝘪𝘳𝘥𝘥𝘥 cause they are uncomfortable seeing "grown (male) adults with a terrible obsession with a children's cartoon show". But really, that's not their problem, it's the problem of the one who's uncomfortable.
P as much as I want to applaud and commend you for being as open minded as you are, that’s not how life works sadly. We might be accepting of these two, but with the way we’re portrayed in the video, it’s not going to help us in anyway. What did I learn in this video? That MLP is a social coping mechanism? To love what I want to love? Sure. That’s nice and beautiful. But just knowing the audience of the video, Singaporeans, of all things: Who the hell cares if they’re happy? Certainly not the ones who care to diminish other social issues. They’re not psycho. They’re being portrayed as psycho. And that deeply worries me if this fringe behaviour is what is being represented as the majority of the community. That’s like showing an anime fan with body pillows, figurines, who gets bullied for it, treats his figures and plushes as real people, can’t live without them etc. , and saying this is what all anime fans are like. I’m not TRYING to being mean, although my message certainly came off that way, and I don’t really mind. I’m just covering my own Brony ass.
my little ponie skinny and bony went to the park to play... tripped on a wire fell in the fire and now my ponie is dead hooray i’m just kidding no hate towards the show this episode reminded of the song my friends taught me
Honestly, bronies confuse me. I don’t have anything against the show or bronies themselves, but like… why? I gave the show a shot and it’s really immature (not in a bad way but still very Kiddy), has very morally simplistic themes, diverse but 2 dimensional leads, and all around it’s a good kid’s show. But out of all the show’s elements, I really don’t see why it has an adult audience.
@blue copper Safe space? Man they are literally appearing in a video telling hundreds of people about something they will get hated abt. Nothing bout dis is safe
Replace ponies with anime girls and it'll sound the same in this context.
Weebs RISE UP
But, i don't wan't to

if girls can like pokemon freely so can boys with MLP!!!
Only if everything think like you this world will be a better place but sadly no this world is full of cancer, salty and many more kind of ppl
But pokemon is targeted for both genders?

There's a fine line between hobby/recreation and addiction/obsession.. i let you decide which one
As a fan of the show, agreed. This is a little to far.
I dont understand the love for MLP, but it makes them happy and engaged, so I support them !

Living this for sure, so sad to hear them getting teased and bullied for doing something they love though.

Completely 100%. You don't bring your plushies out like it's normal. Reality and fantasy need a clear line of separation.

Them bringing the plushes out and treating them like emotional support dogs is quite borderline
