    Leon saying datsyuk makes so much sense. I’ve been saying they look alike on the ice, same paddle etc. and also they move with much control

      @@paullucci my first pens game ever I found a ticket on craigslist for a playoff game against the flyers. When I got to the game out turned out it was sitting with three flyers fans. They were actually human and we remain friends to this day. The end

      @@brandonpoirier5682 60 points is barely an accomplishment this season. Mcdavid has 93, hes the best player in the league. Hedman is the best defenseman and hes also better than crosby. Vasy is the best goalie and also better than crosby. That right there is the top 3 and i didnt even get to draisaitl, mackinnon and all that.

      I know right! I was like wow that’s refreshing to see pointer on here. Kid deserves way more recognition! He was easily their best forward in the playoffs, they looked like a different team without him in the few games he missed.

    Pavel Bure..hand down. Top 3 best pure goal scorer ever. Was poised to put up 700+ goals. Did most his work in the clutch and grab and dead puck eras. Lead the league in goals 4 times. Injuries plagued his longevity. But still he was the most electrifying player in nhl history

    Not really surprised to see Landeskog pick Forsberg, just with all the comparisons between them (Swedish, Avs players, skill and physical mix). My dad actually always says I play like him, which is funny because he loved Forsberg and I’m a big Landeskog fan.

    Scheifele saying he had a poster of Joey Kocur was awesome! He is my all time favorite player and the reason I wear #26. I even have a few of his sticks and autographs and one time at a practice I even asked him to come to my birthday dinner haha.

    Mario Lemieux, Steve Yzerman, and Mark Messier. I wouldn't be the fan that I am today without mentioning Messier, and his "Guarantee" in 94'. Yzerman, because he was the heart of my Red Wings for so many years. Mario especially not only because of his talent level, but his over coming of all of the physical ailments that he endured off of the ice. I have the utmost respect for him.

    I got 2, Pavel Datsyuk and Dominic Hasek. To this day i never seen a player with Datsyuk's all around game. Hasek was just incredible in net, jumping and flopping around the net stopping pucks, id always think ''How the hell he make that save? he was on his back''.

      I’ve always said that Datsyuk is the MOST skilled guy the NHL has ever seen. Not the greatest player of all time, but hands down most talented!

    Yvan cournoyer aka the roadrunner, was my all time great. Started watching him in the mid 60s when I was 7 years old with my dad. Best days of long ago. GO HABS GO!

    Growing up I was an Avs fan, I actually loved Henrik Lunquivst and The Great Ovi. Watching every team regardless if I hate them and I still live by this. I’ll watch any team, any players. And I have lots of hero’s from teams. But Linquivst is my all time great besides Roy. Love the game of hockey 🙏

      They’re both great. Lundqvist, even though he’s retired now, was one of the reasons why the Rangers were one of my favorite teams, and omg, Ovi is so great. That’s coming from a big Caps fan.

    Imagine you're a kid from some obscure town in Sweden and your favorite player is Peter Forsberg and your favorite team is the Avalanche.
    And then someday, you're playing for that team and win a Stanley Cup with them. He's become a true Coloradan and supports the Broncos, Nuggets, Rockies and has cheered and suffered with us. Lande's story is so wholesome. He will never play anywhere else either.

    I really like how most of them name players from other teams. Seems so corny when they are just name dropping teammates. It just seems much more genuine and also makes it more interesting.

    Josh Manson knows what he's talking about. Dave Manson was a terrific hockey player, and he could really rack up the penalty minutes. Certainly one of the best heavyweights of the 80's and 90's, and as pointed out a terrific defenseman. And Seth Jones, I'm shocked it wasn't Adam Foote, Sandis Ozolinsh, Ray Bourque or even Joe Sakic for getting him into hockey considering he grew up an Avalanche fan.. No shame in Lidstrom tho, just odd to be a fan of one of your rivals - a heated rival none the less... As a Hawks fan I'm looking forward to seeing what he can do back in the Indian Head sweater.

    Has to be Martin Brodeur from NHL and Peter Bondra domestically (he had a great 14, maybe 15 year run with the Caps in NHL). I just remember, in every highlight video from my youth, there was at least once shouted BONDRA DAVA GOOOOOL (BONDRA SCOOOOORES!)

    Goalie Eddie Giacomin of the New York Rangers. Was 12 when the NHL expanded in 1967. Origianlly was a Flyers fan. Moved to Upper New York State and watched the Rangers on TV.

    I was a goalie growing up so patrick roy but favorite skater to watch was peter forsberg, he played so reckless and aggressive n with his talent made him the most entertaining to watch however due to it he was constantly injured n shortend his career but damn was he fun to watch when he did play.

    Joe Sakic, Peter Forsberg, but Ray Bourque will always be my favorite. Obviously an Avs fan, so naturally I hate the red wings, but I've got mad respect for Steve Yzerman and Pavel Datsyuk. But still, Bourque reigns Supreme

    Garry Unger 70s Blues. I had the blonde hair, I also had wide striped pants ( Ungers wardrobe - no surprise if hung out with Joe Namath) had his posters and even puzzle. We sucked but loved our Blues!

    My favourites growing up was a triple duo on The Rangers. Brian Leetch, Mark Messier and Adam Graves. As i got older i probably say Henrik Lundquist. And then of course all the Swedish Legends
