It actually doesn’t make any sense, why would a German want to take the England job considering the politics between the two countries in football. also why would they believe that he will take the job right now, whilst the tournament is currently being played in Germany . Home turf home advantage. I am sure Jurgen Klopp would want and love for his country to win this tournament. Makes absolutely no logical sense.. England fans just dreaming and making unnecessary noise as per usual.
Why would Klopp want the English national job? The media will destroy him like they have done with countless England managers. He left Liverpool because he didn’t have the mental energy anymore to do the job. Fair play. He might not even return to another manager’s role, but if he did it would likely be the German one IMO. At least their media and public would be supportive of him and he wouldn’t have all the BS pressure of trying to win a major trophy for a country for the first time in 60 years, and who wouldn’t totally embrace him.
The England Football National Team do don't need a new manager. They need a change of power structure. The England National team needs to be taken out of the hands of The FA and placed into an independent structure, something like a National Centre of Excellence for football where the best in class are hired to make the important decisions. Do you really think that Old Boys Club of the FA, a bloated organisation dominated by Cronyism and self- interest are actually interested in the strive for excellence and success?
They are not bothered about the England National Team doing well, they are only concerned about one thing and one thing only, and that is lining their own pockets and seeing how much money they can individually get out of the gravy train and hiring the manager that is best suited to their needs, that being, someone overachieving being the England manager and thus won't rock the applecart.
Forget the likes of Klopp coming to manage the England National team whilst its in the hands of the FA. A strong character like Klopp would come in and question what their roles actually are. He doesn't suffer fools and the abundance of Fools at the FA want to remain under the radar. Hence, They will appoint yet another yes man, like a Graham Potter.
This needs to change after this tournament and a petition needs to be signed by all England fans to get their national team out of the hands of this outdated institution otherwise nothing will happen and we will be doomed with a fate of just yet more underachievement.

Exactly. The split on ownership of the players between the Premiership and FA is the biggest impediment to England succeeding in winning a major trophy. All that will happen is Southgate will leave after this euros and be replaced by another manager who will be hamstrung by a system of that doesn’t care or serve the national team.

Lies Klopp has said publicly that England have so much he would consider it. I actually think Germans are scared what England would become with Klopp so pretending he would never take the job. Bild one of the most anti-English German Newspapers even said the FA should hire Klopp and the journalists there are very close to him, suggesting he would take the England job. Plus Klopp is a deeply religious guy and the temptation of being the German guy who finally brings it home for England and bridge cultural relations between England and Germany would be too much to turn down.

Eddie howe. National team should be managed by a national coach, Eddie Howe is the standout English manager, it's a no brainer! Took Bournemouth from league two to the prem, took Newcastle from relegation threatened to the champions league, plays attacking football, he's the obvious choice.
