Stephanie Roy - Physical Education Lesson

This video shows me teaching a second grade class. It is the first of a 6-lesson basketball unit. The lesson introduces students to both stationary dribbling, as well as dribbling on the move. During the lesson, the appropriate progressions at this age level are used to provide the necessary skill set and foundation for this particular unit. It also incorporates math by asking students to count and to recognize and match various shapes throughout the lesson.

The Lesson itself was well prepared, What I did see in the beginning was that You could have introduced yourself to the students, instead of having them guess. secondly I would have mentioned safety.

Also, having them warm up just to sit down and answer questions .. kind of defies the point of the warm up..
