@@nikolatesla4703 because it's related to some of us who wanted to be dancers and still have that child in our heart. That's why we don't like toxic movies like animal or other violent south movies. We want to grow up not as a men not as a abusive animal.
Fun fact, chandu (puneet pathak) and Riya (lauren) participated in a dancing reality show as a dancer and choreographer and were runner up. Interestingly, the winner of that season was Rocky (Salman) who choreographed his partner 😄

Cinedesi - When Vishnu says that they should perform the dance they do when India wins or at Ganesh Chaturthi he doesn't mean that these dance r remembered or performed by everyone but he mean to say that perform with heart and happiness it doesn't matter that u know dance or not but everyone dances with full heart with devotion and happiness....
ABCD 2 is must watch, it's based on the real story of 'the kings' and obviously it's influence by Step up.

An interesting point: None of them except the heads of both teams, are actors. Everyone of them is either a choreographer or a trained dancer, and making a film with them was very interesting to watch.
The best thing about this movie is this last Ganpati festival and visarjan dance. It's powerful and the same time our desi carefree dance ❤🙌🔥✨😁😌.

None of them were actors , they are dancers and the director is a bigtime choreographer turned director so he took all the dancers and made a movie about dance .

ABCD is based on a real dance group of India called "fictitious dance group" and people casted for dance group and coaches are them self professional dancers. The legend prabhudeva (Vishnu) is one of the pioneer of really good dance in movies.

Duhai hai performance was still the most impactful for me in whole franchise, the last routine made me dance like crazy when i was young and still makes me energized. What a performance. So loved the movie.

May be he's not that great in acting, But he started his career through acting. He did so many movies in tamil, telugu, hindi, kannada.
Most of the folks aren’t actors. They are dancers and choreographers…a lot of them actually came thru dance competitions. The director included - he is a choreographer. And some of them are now judges in dance shows too.
I dont if you understand the song or not, its very religious thats why when they stack up wear lord ganesha's mask it actually gives you the goosebumps and chills in your body, the when they all were bowing down to their guru(teacher) its actually the gurur mantra, which means guru is above everything, and if bunch of students are actually admitting that you are our guru its a huge thing. So in short the whole song just gives you a rollercoaster ride. I always cry whenever i see this song. Always.

The main teacher Vishnu and Gopi arw the actual life choreographers and they both have set all the dances in this movie.
Most of the dancers came from popular dance reality show in india "DID", one of the judge there (Remo) directed this movie. Most of the cast were kind of popular, but they do not have a actor background. Would love the watch theirs first auditions and them dancing, and theirs story.

So, there were 2 major dance reality shows in India, known as DID (Dance India Dance) and Boogie Woogie. All the dancers in the movie, including the dancers from the main group and rival group, were majorly the winners, runner ups and participants of these shows.

Gopi is played by Ganesh Acharya, one of the most reputed Bollywood choreographers.
The guy who comes in red shirt in the credits song, is Remo D'Souza, the director of the ABCD series and another very reputed dancer, judge of DID and movie choreographer.
