Hope this message is carried through to the local conferences who emphasise on the number of baptisms. Pastors are measured by how many they baptise and what their tithe intake looks like each month.
What an interesting interview, conversation and transmission of the topic of the Mission of the Church. Everyone involved. The difference between the "mechanical" and the "supernatural." The Mission is an act of Love and continuity of the Mission of Christ to rescue souls for Eternity. Well, I want to hear the next part. Greetings and Blessings for sharing this message. ❤
We are glad you found the interview on the Mission of the Church interesting and thought-provoking. It's indeed a topic filled with depth and significance. The idea of the mission being an act of love and part of Christ's ongoing work is powerful. What aspects of this topic resonate with you the most?
"Ye are the Light of the World. A City that is set on an Hill cannot be hid. Neither do Men light a Candle, and put it under a Bushel, but on a Candlestick; and it giveth Light unto all that are in the House. Let your Light so shine before Men, that they may see your Good Works, and Glorify your Father which is in Heaven." Matthew 5:14-16 KJB
Paul carried with him through his life on earth the very atmosphere of Heaven. All who associated with him felt the influence of his connection with Christ and companionship with angels. Here lies the power of the truth. The unstudied, unconscious influence of a holy life is the most convincing sermon that can be given in favor of Christianity. Argument, even when unanswerable, may provoke only opposition; but a godly example has a power which it is impossible wholly to resist. . LP 331.1
We often limit our understanding of evangelism to outreach events done with other believers - door knocking, book selling, healthexpos, cooking classes, etc. But Jesus was doing evangelism even as a carpenter and so can we.
The Great Commission is a cornerstone of Christian ministry. How do you see yourself fulfilling this command to teach and baptize in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit?
Another Sign Of The End Of Time: "Sin will be rampant everywhere, and the love of many will grow cold." Matthew 24:12 The land of Israel and its Jewish people are inextricably linked to the Bible and Christianity. Why the very savior they worship is Jewish. Yet for 4 weeks, I've shamefully witnessed numerous web and social media accounts and RUclips channels owned by Christians who have not posted a single word of condemnation against the heinous acts of Pure Evil in Israel on 10/7 by residents of Gaza. Not a single sympathetic or supportive word or prayer for the unimaginable grief thousands of families and indeed the entire 10 million population of the State of Israel are currently enduring. That's unimaginable! 1,400 innocent unarmed civilians, mostly women, citizens of over 40 nations were very intentionally and savagely raped, sadistically tortured, and barbarically butchered, over 4,000 others received all sorts of injuries, and over 240 children, women, men, and the elderly were abducted, and they have not been heard from since, so we do not know if they are alive, being tortured, or what. This was truly the second holocaust of the Jews, and the evil residents of Gaza (and elsewhere like the US) are on TV and social media every week telling the world how they are going to continue these psychopathic attacks until the Jewish race is completely annihilated from the face of the Earth. Yet many "professed" Christians are choosing to mostly ignore this historic event, like sadly they did the first Holocaust, even supporting Nazi war criminals, as the Catholic Church infamously did.
I think the internet sources far outway what is available in a physical church. Especially when local congregations keep having narcissist pastors forced on them and Conferences are not held accountable for their gross misbehavior. Home church is a blessings, still socializing with those who love the Lord and are following Him is a blessings, and you can still be just as knowledgable and helpful in your community and to your neighbors. Praise God the internet is available for now. When the internet is no longer available the church buildings probably won't be either. Then what happens to eveyone who only went to church for a "show"? Home church is historical and the way to go. (Still a tithe returning member)
"How should one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, except their Rock had sold them, and the LORD had shut them up?" Deuteronomy 32:30 KJB
That's an interesting etymology of the word "Pastor." It beautifully reflects the role of spiritual leaders as shepherds guiding and caring for their flocks. How do you see this connection between the term and the pastoral role?
"And David said to Joab and to the Rulers of the People, Go, number Israel from Beersheba even to Dan;" 1 Chronicles 21:1 KJB "And God was displeased with this Thing;" 1 Chronicles 21:7 KJB
The story of David's decision and its consequences is a powerful reminder of the importance of our choices. How do you think we can avoid displeasing God in our own actions and decisions?
A big lie! I barely slept trying to fill churches with Godly Sunday Christians but got persecuted IN churches; churches filled with jealousy and hate. Left after 36 years because I can’t get anyone, not even the pastor to help on how to read the bible after being born again on the outsode from no religious background. Only place to learn is online; and thanks to the scholars who helped.
It's disheartening when one faces challenges in a place that should be filled with love and support. Online resources can be a valuable source of knowledge and guidance. How can we as a community work to create a more inclusive and supportive environment for everyone?
Praise God
❤❤ dont forget and keep smile Sir and Mrs.Nancy.. Thank You ANN

"The voice of him that crieth in the Wilderness, Prepare ye the Way of the LORD, make straight in the Desert a Highway for our God." Isaiah 40:3 KJB
Isaiah's words remind us to prepare for the coming of the Lord. How do you personally align your life with this message?

Thank you so much for this wonderful message. Stay blessed my beloved brothers in Christ Jesus 🙏🏻🙂💖

So, very interesting

Total member involvement is an imaginary that assumes active membership is modeled after administrative interpretations.
