You have to keep in mind that from 2010-2012, a rag-tag bunch of boys, from 13 to 18, was gathered together and all of them lived together from training days until around 2019-2020, when each one of them bought a personal house and move out. They learned to live with each other and understood that if they wanna achieve something, personal ego must go. This doesn't mean that they don't have strong personalities, but were put to use for the good of the them all. Who roast BTS the strongest and the most? BTS THEMSELVES. They were learned to solve all their conflicts as 7. There are no festering wounds. It's ok to fight and have disagreements, but solved them as 7. That was what they were teached. They love each other so much to the point that they are soulmates, think the same, have same gestures, are thelepatic and are so supportive of each other, but also they will tell the truth, if it must. That's the secret of the synergy of their group and why they resisted so much. Also, you have to think that even if it's not the oldest, RM is the leader for a reson. He stood in front of them when times were tough. At the begining, when they didn't know English, RM translated them, all the hate and ugly messages into messages of love, support and praise. And in times of success, you will often see him in the back, a proud smile on his face and always encouraging the guys to speak their mind. And all understood his vision about them. But at the same time, all of them acknowledge that JIN is the oldest, and show their respect to him. You can see this more clearly in the RUN BTS show. They are who they are today, because for a long time, their journey was literally hell. On leave from the army JK went live with fans unexpectedly at night. 20.2 million came on line to watch him and make song requests. He was nervous because he was so out of practice in the begining but quickly relaxed and we were treated to a beautiful mini concert.
1:05:06 this map is of BTS ARMY charity projects, it's not BTS donating or arranging it, it's ARMY both starting the projects and giving. ARMY is very connected on social media and all over the world, proud of our diversity both in nationalities, ages, sexualities, gender, different skill sets, occupations etc. etc. and how we connect as human beings wanting the world to be a good, healthy and safe place to live for all. But BTS do donate money too, often but quietly, very seldom do they do it officially but media or social media finds out so we find out. For their birthdays they always donate money, often to education or cultural preservation and to the old and veterans etc etc. But this map shown is ARMY projects and nothing to do with BTS except for it being BTS fans who are inspired to put time in and help the world because the message and mindset that BTS (and ARMY have).

This is the best guide, only problem is it is 2 and a half years out of date. So some of the stats are old, try doubling the awards, and the ages were always wrong, JK was 13 when he joined Bighit, and 15 on debut, others ages are mostly incorrect info too. Obviously this wS made before they announced the hiatus which was to allow the guys time to prepare for and complete mandatory military service.

You are allowed to have a bias, or more than one bias. Mine are the rap line, and JIMIN is my bias wrecker, but ultimately I'm OT7. RM caught my attention first, then HOBI, then SUGA. But JIMIN was always bias wrecking me.
No matter the smaller they were as per your question we became fans at least speaking for myself because since the beginning they were outperforming the other groups and their Lyrics were Top Tier I came into BTS because I liked Hip Hop but now enjoying a lot of genres just because of them including R&B jazz and Pop which is the genre I like less love from Spain 🇪🇦

We don't mind you pausing or having a bias. Most of us have a favorite member, though sometimes it changes with time, and you may have multiple biases. For me JK is my bias, and Suga is my soul mate, but I can easily find myself being completely taken over by V and RM at times, lol. Of course I love them all so much and BTS has to be all 7, there is no BTS without any one if the members. Army is pretty full, but we will squeeze you in.

And to my understanding _Before_ his musical career his mother bought him the Friends collection set (he never pin pointed When it was but he has made English lyrics quite a longtime before debut if not even before trainee era - and you don't really do that with English as a first foreign language school subject..) That he watched several times through - to strengthen his school learned English. I my self have studied Spanish in many forms, but I say the real Spanish that I could use I learned from watching anime dubbed in Spanish!) ;D

I got into K-Pop cuz of Taehyung (V) and now i can't get out cuz of him again lol K-pop industry in general is so toxic to me, companies and idols are so chart obsessed and the songs don't have so much difference from western songs these days tbh, k-pop wasn't like that in the past, everything was more fun and there were more quality music. That's why i stopped being a proper kpop follower. However Taehyung is really so different to me, he didn't disappoint me once, he always followed his own music style, knowing his genre doesn't appeal to masses like generic pop style, he still didn't give up on his own unique style. His character is also so genuine and real which is so attractive to me. I can't seem to get out of his clutches for a long time lol. They are really good people, well raised and educated and JK is a mesh of all 6 personalities.
They are who they are today, because for a long time, their journey was literally hell. Days with little food, with cheap t-shirts imprinted with brands designs, with pure hate and evil, to the point of them thinking of breaking up in 2018. But they stood as one and the love and trust in each other, saved them.
All 7 of them are equally loved and cherished.

ARMY is very connected on social media and all over the world, proud of our diversity both in nationalities, ages, sexualities, gender, different skill sets, occupations etc. etc. and how we connect as human beings wanting the world to be a good, healthy and safe place to live for all.
But BTS do donate money too, often but quietly, very seldom do they do it officially but media or social media finds out so we find out. This is the best guide, only problem is it is 2 and a half years out of date. So some of the stats are old, try doubling the awards, and the ages were always wrong, JK was 13 when he joined Bighit, and 15 on debut, others ages are mostly incorrect info too.
Obviously this wS made before they announced the hiatus which was to allow the guys time to prepare for and complete mandatory military service.

We don't mind you pausing or having a bias. Most of us have a favorite member, though sometimes it changes with time, and you may have multiple biases. For me JK is my bias, and Suga is my soul mate, but I can easily find myself being completely taken over by V and RM at times, lol. Of course I love them all so much and BTS has to be all 7, there is no BTS without any one if the members. Army is pretty full, but we will squeeze you in.
Anyone who minds you pausing can sit down and be quiet about it. This is a reaction. We are here for your thoughts and comments. We all know this by heart anyway. It is pretty densely packed. As ARMY, I definitely don’t mind long reactions though Isometimes may have to break it into parts depending on my schedule though I will always watch the whole thing. Suga's song Nevermind had so strong of a impact on Jimin that he made his first tattoo of it. (Tattoos are still largely looked badly in South Korea.) Jimin took the lyrics literally and carved the word "nevermind" over his rib cage.
They just talked about those texts in length in Suga's own RUclips variety show. it was a hard time for them and Suga sent those texts to two of the youngest. I always say for my part : I found BTS and their music made me a fan, but ARMY made me an ARMY. I see daily how ARMY is like a family, mostly in good and loving way, but we also are people from all around the world, and our cultures differ so much, even if we all find so much same (also other than our Seven,) in our hearts also. Sometimes our differences give us some good opportunities to learn about other cultures and be more open hearted.

And to my understanding _Before_ his musical career his mother bought him the Friends collection set (he never pin pointed When it was but he has made English lyrics quite a longtime before debut if not even before trainee era - and you don't really do that with English as a first foreign language school subject..) That he watched several times through - to strengthen his school learned English.

I got into K-Pop cuz of Taehyung (V) and now i can't get out cuz of him again lol K-pop industry in general is so toxic to me, companies and idols are so chart obsessed and the songs don't have so much difference from western songs these days tbh, k-pop wasn't like that in the past, everything was more fun and there were more quality music. That's why i stopped being a proper kpop follower. However Taehyung is really so different to me, he didn't disappoint me once, he always followed his own music style, knowing his genre doesn't appeal to masses like generic pop style, he still didn't give up on his own unique style. His character is also so genuine and real which is so attractive to me. I can't seem to get out of his clutches for a long time lol.
