So, you're what you want to say is that when you look to the left, the closest retracement was never deep, is that right? Because when you say that, and the way you kept moving the mouse, I found myself looking way left of the screen to the previous retracement before the closest one as seen at 13:10.

trading as we know it requires lots of practice, In crypto traders either make or loss their money in couple of minutes.
another reason I decided to stick with Fiat and Stocks trades only. My doubts on these alt-coins are backed with substantial reason.
Here is an advice for every beginner trader, first make sure you do research, My research led me to Ms. Catelyn Norris, her strategy is currently working and her platform checks out so there you go.
Even with the use of proper research tools like messari, block folio and others, I still made considerable amount of losses. This was because I was too engrossed in technical analysis leaving out the fundamental factors like tokeneconomics, hash rate, market capitalization which is just stressful for an amateur. That's when I finally decided that a bit of professional advice can prove very helpful.

Although I think he did a nice job in this video, nobody is going to learn everything in a short amount of time. Even if everyone in the retail world learned this stuff, it doesn't mean they'd be able to implement it. In addition to that, even if "we" did, we still wouldn't have the amount of money to move markets. I doubt the market will change. I wouldn't be worried about it.
That wont happen for a long time maybe in a couple of years but that's so far fetched. There are multiple retail traders that make thousands a month trading support and resistance that clearly means if retail trading still somewhat works right now than smart money trading wont stop working or become less efficient for a while.

Hmm. Interesting. You boxed in your expansions (blue squares) and ranges (red) the way they do at OTA. My complaint with this is you didn't clearly explain why you didn't take the buy entries at 12:34. You say you knew price wasn't coming back? Well, how did you know that? You say you didn't see any structure going down to the downside. Well, what does that mean? Could you expand on how that looks, what you were looking for? As far as I am concerned, at this point, it is too early to know how price will come back down. I may just be confused on what you are saying.
I was talking about price coming back down to re test that order block. In my video on orderblocks I explained deeply why I don't go for orderblocks or IC candles that are close to price rather i go for the ones that are deeper in the expansion preferably the one that started the major move up. I agree gold would probably not fall that much but that's why I said we need to learn to be patient and wait for price actions to create a second discounted level in order to capitalize on buy opportunities.
@@TraqFXM No. I get that, not being interested in s&d or OBs close to price. I'm in agreement. That is how I was taught too. But I was confused as to why the two levels further away or towards the bottom were not of interest to you as well. I think I caught it after numerous viewings. You said price didn't retrace enough and if it comes back it will be downtrending. Tell me if I'm wrong, that that was what you said? That makes sense as well.
@@JunebugPresents Ohhh okay I got you so the reason why I didn’t expect gold to come down there was because gold was fundamentally extremely bullish. After every consolidation the market barely retraced 50% or made a 30% retracement and continued up. It wouldn’t make sense for gold to randomly sell off all the way to the bottom to test those candles or zones unless the market is getting ready to tank. The only time we would focus on taking a buy there is if gold was making deep retracements to begin with but in this case it didn’t
