Can't wait to see how you go about this build! I'm building one with a buddy right now and we just finished bending the flats, I used the 3D printed jig and it worked flawlessly for bending two flats. Also got a pps-43 waiting for after the cetme, and I know your videos are going to be a huge help on that build.
Bill Springfield built mine. You should pick up one of his recoil buffer kits. Reduces recoil big time. He also welded on a picatinny scope rail for me. The only scope that I found that works and fits perfect. Is a Athlon Ares BTR 2-12x42. It is short. And it has plenty of clearance for the charging handle. Went with a H&K rear sight. Vortex Pro series extra high scope rings have a cut out. So I still can use my irons. If you need a muzzle device. Zev industries has one that reduces flash and recoil. Plus right now they are 50% off. Or more.
Great timing. I'm halfway through a G3 rebuild (just shy of pressing the barrel) and got a pair of these kits from Apex over the weekend. Excited to follow along.
IIRC the safety markings are T for semi auto, S for safe, and R for rapid, or full auto. Also, the teigger wont pull unless the disconnector is down, its to prevent out of battery detonations. These are really fadcinating guns, look forward to the new series!
i have some DXF files for making a bending jig and forming mandrel if you want em, that receiver will need the rails to be fully formed with the mandrel or it will be out of spec
How’s your PPSH? Considered buying a kit to save for someday. Just realized the unfortunate reality of it’s probably never going to be the way it once was
Yesssss. I’m so glad you are covering a Cetme build! I’ve already started mine and almost done but can’t wait for your helpful tips and tricks!

I love the lathe. Thanks for showing it. Awesome machine!!!!
This is EXACTLY why I love the guild!
Have had a kit from apex just sitting around waiting for me to get to it, so perfect timing on this series.

Great timing, I just got that kit today ! Will be following closely .
Might take me a while to get it finished, I’ve had a ton of bolt orders the last few months! But I’ll get it done eventually! Lol

Thanks! Yeah I literally know close to nothing about hk style guns, but I will learn!
@@JPMachine you'll do just fine, they ain't exactly rocket surgery.
Excellent video.
Nice vid. The 3d printer might be needed to print the outside straightening jigs. They help with forming the grooves better so the bolt slides nice.
the 3d printed pieces wont be strong enough to form the grooves, you need metal

Ppsh is working fantastic! I added a spring guide to the production version bolt conversion and I have had zero issues with any of them!
@@JPMachine Thats great to hear! It was interesting to see your build. How much did you pay for the kit?
@@Millie.1965 PPSh kits are from bowman’s, was 6 something, but they are slightly cheaper now
@@JPMachine Definitely missed my chance at getting one for 500! Plus Id hate to buy a kit with a new stock
@@Millie.1965 bowmanarms.com/ppsh-41-parts-kit/ - comes with the original stock, and only 3 very nice torch cuts
Will you be installing a paddle mag release as well?
I hope so!
There are some video that show how to build a jig.
Hey! How backed up are you on PPS bolts?
Couple weeks out. Normally I get just about done with the last ones and more show up that day lol
that is a full auto bolt
Ive built many there super simple to build but they require knowledge. An ar buider will not hav enough knowledge to assemble this rifle properly
