Thank you for the box idea. I put ingredients in a zip bag for a full meal. This way if I am sick, hubby has a meal to do. I also keep a typed recipe s sheet in the bag. I keep copies of what is in freezer and a list on pantry doors for each cabinet. I will start boxes with lists of meal possibilities.
All rice, flour, corn meal etc have eggs from bugs in them. If storing these items for long term you need to kill the eggs. Many people freeze items for 48 hours, this is what I do. Never no issues with long term storage.
Just like she pronounces "jalapeno" as "jalapena"...trust me... it definitely is NOT a Southern California thing...Been here my whole life, and have never heard anyone else pronounce Spanish words the way Rhoda does! Take care!🤷🙄🤪🤣🤦
before storing the flour put the sack in the sun just 3 hrs. Do it 3 days in a row that will kill any eggsbugs, and we don't have to worry for more then 2 years or more.😮😮💖💖
@@Muzikgirl67 You can storage in your kitchen, as regular. You don't need refrigeration, the Pakistani people do it like that. I didn't try the freezer way.

Lovely art and flowers....
On the milk , id buy the box with packets. 1 packet makes a quart, no measuring needed.
TY friend for all the good ideals 🌌😇

Rhoda will you please rewrite the Navajo bread recipe? It’s really messy and hard to read. No red ink😊

As always, great ideas for storing emergency food. Thank you!
Ok a reality touch: north korea government wont allow "a quarter cup of rice" so they can live
I’ve never thought about buying lard, what’s the expiration timeline on that? I know other oils go rancid pretty quickly.
Why do you pronounce salsa as zalza? Is it a SoCal thing?
