Dr. Robert Svoboda is the first Westerner ever to graduate from a college of Ayurveda and be licensed to practice Ayurveda in India. During and after his formal Ayurvedic training he was tutored in Ayurveda, Yoga, Jyotish, Tantra and other forms of classical Indian lore by his mentor, the Aghori Vimalananda. He is the author of over a dozen books and has served as Adjunct Faculty at the Ayurvedic Institute in Albuquerque, NM, and at Bastyr University in Kenmore, WA.

Recently finished my third sadesati. It was the worst of my life: health problems, house problems, financial problems, family problems. Felt like my life ws a house of cards that fell apart and now I am in the process of recreating it. One very positive thing that occurred was a great increase in my faith, my use of meditation and mantras, and growth in spirituality. I was driven to it out of necessity, but it all turned out to be very healing and a great comfort in the midst of otherwise huge distress. My heart goes out to all those going through a sadesati period!

I will never forget that my first sadhana was reading The Greatness of Saturn. From the book by Dr Svoboda. I had a wonderful experience back then. The book is also so well written. It's really a gem.
The weird thing about Sade Sati, I was noticing this in the chart of a friend because it appeared that her sade sati was longer than 7 and a half. If I saw it correctly, Saturn was going retrograde and then again direct and so this made it much longer. Not sure now if I was reading it correctly.
1. can be other dosh which came just after the completion of sade sati
2. the effect of sade sati after 7.5 years completion can be slow.

A read, or listen will give a transmission of power and wisdom that will help you to move through obstacles and suffering and help you to realize the compassionate nature of Lord Shani Dev 🙏
Makes sense. Had my first Sadesati in early childhood and lost all living grandparents & my father before the age of 5. The second Sadesati was different though, nobody was left alive to die. But I was depressed and suicidal during the whole period.

I am finding that the depression and anxiety and suicidal thoughts linger beyond the sadesati period, mostly because the effects in my life have lingered on as well. Very frustrating. And very glad I won’t have to go through a fourth sadesati period in this lifetime!
So much humiliation , surgeries, loss of position or job, hard luck at every corner ….colic pain at night, stomach bloating, lack of sleep at night , extreme hard work for little gain ….saade Sati wrung me out and left me out to dry
My first 2.5 yrs is on.. Aq moon. My BAV score of saturn in cp is zero. Sav is 19. My goodness, it has been a painful one. Body constantly hurts for no reason especially feet (saturn is karaka for feet). Just recently tore my ligament in the knee and needed surgery.
I bow down to Lord Saturn. If people say astrology isn't real, I'll urge them to think again. The greatness of Shani dev is real.

This works just as well, if not even better for tropical. I used to follow sidereal but tropical is definitely deep.
im from malaysia nd a Hindu religion where my grand parents came from india during my teenage years i study nd stay at christian missionary boarding school at another states the christian school is rule by catholic nuns nd i enjoyed staying with girls beside the school there is church nd we pray. sunday is a church mass where we girls have to attend its compulsory . even though im a hindu by birth. i was not aware about sade sati planetary effect in one charts because for me all religion God is one so after i finish my education for five years in convent. its time for me to go back to my parents house. thats where the trouble start in the family parents fighting no peace. siblings fighting financial problem. my mother can read the tamil books, news paper but she dont understand English were else me nd my siblings can read nd write English but cannot read the Tamil version. i really had a trouble nd hard times when this sade sati the saturn planetary effect nd it creates so much misery, unhappiness pain nd sadness but i believe the universe has godly Love for down trodden , helpless human being 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
