I did this and said “Buh Duh” over and over while my parents were asleep and they thought I was possessed.
Happens..🤣🤣🤣
lmao
Damn that line about finding a point of failure. 🔥🔥

if you found it hard at first, sing along with him.
Bro thx so much I was tongue twisting before but now with him I didn’t preciate it 🙏🏿
These drill videos are so useful. Thank you so much for the tips as well. Been subscribed for multiple years now but this is my first comment. Thanks for all you do 👊

Neyvani Gaming thank you colemize
That was insane haha i never realized how much i used those notes. I feel like im learning so much. Thank you!
This series is great, I couldn't do a whole bar, so I just did every other measure and built myself up from there.
Thanks what's up, nothing wrong with that, you're growing! Keep it up! You got this! ✌😎 - Cole Mize
Here we go 😄🤗

Q
Ok that was hard af lol 😂 I kept messing up
I keep saying butter instead of buh duh 🤔😂 I find my match smh
One of the problems i have is taking in information but not aplying it. This is just awesome for filling that handicapping gap. Thank you man!
felt like we were spitting bars back to back😂🔥🔥🔥 how i know your the best teacher
I think I will be stuck in this lesson for a few weeks :DD So haard
I'm on day 4, still can't do the whole thing but I think in 2 days I will be able to! If you can't do it just keep practicing you will got it!
That's good! That means you're on the right try because you've met your failing point. ✌😎 - Cole Mize
That's okay Bradd, you got this! Try doing it for every other beat, so fill in beat 1, pause on beat 2, etc.. then once you feel comfortable fill in all the beats. If you still have trouble, practice saying these without any music and do it really slow to build up muscle memory, then gradually practice it faster. These tips will certainly help you nail these down! you got this! ✌😎 - Cole Mize
@@ColeMizeStudios Thanks Cole! :)
Yaaaay I did it with one mess up lol after 3 days of practice chyeah 💯❤️thx miZe🙌🏾💅🏾

It seems like I can’t say BuhDuh as fast as you, this is day two of trying to overcome this challenge and ima keep pushing forward until I master it
THank You !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
thank you
Dope video man helped me a lot !
I just took down the 3 video😎 hello 4 video! Here I come
LET'S GET IT!! :) - Cole Mize
Day 2
Found a pattern that helped me a lot ("BUTTER / BUTTER / BUTTER / BUTTER")
🤣 i did the same but its not correct i feel u bro
Cole so this helps with flow. how will this translate into writing? i'm trying to mentally make that connection
Your cadences are made up of lots of different musical notes, this video and teaching you one of those musical noted "16th notes". What makes a rappers flow sound so good, is the way he creates patterns with musical notes with the syllables that make up each word. So it's your cadences that are driving your lyrics. I hope that helps clear things up. 😎✌️ - Cole Mize
@@ColeMizeStudios Makes sense now. I appreciate that !
Bruh.. dis dat shiii bro. Like fr
dam this one hard
You can do Peanutt- butter , and when getting tired do Peanut butter and then switch to biddi-baddah lol
Imma try that!
Hey Cole! Thanks for this. What metronome count we are working at? And will this practice work with higher or lower metronome count?
My pleasure! This is using standard 4/4 time but in double time. Yes this will work with lower and higher tempos. Thanks for watching and commenting! 😎✌️ - Cole Mize
Thank You!(:
Pretty sure I said butt-butter at some point lol! You the man!
HELP MEEEE!!!
I can sing first 3 times but the other times I am messing up at last note. Any tips
Day 3 practice
You got this!! ✌😎 - Cole Mize
if you really can't get it, it might help to slow down the play speed of the video ;) (I kinda needed to do so)
This might seem weird, but do you think there is a way you could make like Gibberish library of like certain sounds or 'gibberish words' you use and try to stick to those sounds for specific purposes? Cause when I try to skatt I use stupid sounds like bee bob or bah du bah du or something that and I can't seem to use the properly syllables consistently or have enough larger syllable 'gib words' when it comes time to maintain a 16th note flow style or do those quick little bursts. Doesn't have to be as I say but I feel like being better at skatting also opens up more options in finding better cadences.
Great question Quin! Yes after you've been scatting for a while you will start to develop your own type of scatting sounds that you use for certain notes that are faster such as triplets. Stay tuned because I will be talking about scatting a good bit in this series. Thanks for watching and commenting! :) - Cole Mize
An emcee that has a signature "scat" sound is *CHICCA CHICCA* Slim Shady.
Ok this one got me. Was holdin steady till this. Indagudabuh bugadigga buda buda buda buda brain twisted
I started to slow down lol awe man this is bad but I guess I gotta practice this one until I get the speed right. Damn bruh 😅
I feel you, hang in there! You got this! ✌😎 - Cole Mize
@@ColeMizeStudios yo! I got better! I got through it with very few mistakes. 😊 I’m happy af lol
I want to be a singer thy can rap on want to focus on trap so thanks for the videos
Stuck trying to perfect
My
Buh duhs lol
♥️
I'm not in any way undermining the lesson, if "buh duh buh duh" is easier say it. But if you're tongue tied or keep tripping, try "buh duh dig ga" it helps fill the whole beat and is easier to count. I'm not sure if doing it that way is cheating but it helped a little. The content helps a lot man, thanks
I can't seem to get this right. Can i use other sounds besides "Buh Duh"?
Sure! The sounds don't matter, this is strictly about the cadence, use whatever sounds you wish, just match the cadence. ✌😎 - Cole Mize
When the red blinker goes from 1 to 4 TWO times that’s considered one bar right? Been having problems wrapping my head around double and normal time
So love brother xevolute
Umm cole how manny hour or time do you need to practice those drill
Try to get 30 minutes to an hour each day minimum! The more time you can practice the quicker you will grow. Thanks for watching Rowelton! Much respect! ✌️😎 - Cole Mize
@@ColeMizeStudios ok 👍
I don’t understand the note that I’m listening for in the instrumental. Is it a certain beat that I should be hearing in the instrumental that would represent each quarter note , 8th and 16th note? Or am I just listening for kicks and snares?
When I do the buh-duh note, it's mire than difficult so what can I yse to substitute?
I find it easier to say One Yuh Beh Duh, Two Yuh Beh Duh, Three Yuh Beh Duh, Four Yuh Beh Duh. I hope this helps! ✌😎 - Cole Mize
I almost died trying to do this
what if i have a speech impairment? and i may not know?
Day 1 of practice.
Tip: if u struggle doin this put 0.75 speed👍
for some reason i keep rolling a r
03:33
It gets difficult on the 3rd note😥
Hang in there! You can do it! ✌😎 - Cole Mize
I can do this but how do i turn this to words
This is for me you can use it to reader
2:20
got my ass on this one LMAO
I tried this video 3 times today.... I barely managed the 2 times read xDDDD
Let's see how it'll next week at the end
Can someone tell me how can I practice rapping?
What should i do to write a song
Bro U r doing this in 16 count normal time i dnt knw why are u saying this 16 count double time..i saw your double time video also in which u said making a bar double is double time but here u r not doing it explain plz...🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Ok we get it... you like butter.
Bro, after 2 counts, my lips and tongue loose complete orientation 😅😅😅
how to practice rapping on beat???
How can i try in hindi language?
i come from a little bit of a music background so that's probably a big reason why, but to be perfectly honest 1 e + a 2 e + a is easier for my mouth (even at this speed) than buh duh buh duh.
idk why it's such an awful tongue twister for me but it falls apart by the third beat every time. even if i go along with the video while you go through the bars as an example, the second your voice drops out, my buhs and duhs clash and, like i said, without fail, by the end of beat 3 i lost it.
but, 1 e + a 2 e + a? i can do that on the four bars by myself with next to no difficulty.
I felt like a baby learning how to talk
I would pay for this wtf
butter butter butter butter butter butter butter butter butter butter butter butter
What's buh duh stand for?
They don't mean anything, it's basically a scat using 16th notes. Hope this helps clarify. Thanks for watching! :) - Cole Mize
cool
Thanks! ✌😎 - Cole Mize
put butter on the butt but bro don't be above on the dub ba duh
xD the only thing i hear is butter
lol! Same here! Maybe we're just hungry? lol! Thanks for watching and commenting! :) - Cole Mize
Present xevolute
I'm late to the party but I would suggest saying "butter and a" rather than buh duh buh duh. I dont trip up as easily with this method for some reason.
First!
Thanks for the support! :) - Cole Mize
Haha i sound so dumb on this stuck at 16 then
2:20
3:32
2:20
I think I can do this if I say “e + a” instead of buh duh
Go for it! Feel free to use which ever sounds feels the most natural to you. You got this! ✌😎 - Cole Mize
@@ColeMizeStudios thanks man, your really a great help, but question, I’ve been practicing for 2 years since the pandemic started and I still feel new literally I’ve been on my own, I don’t even have friends that rap, been practicing on my breathing, learning from my favorite artists, doing my exercises like these, training my ear in pitch but I can’t manage to find my rap voice or flow…I see improvements but very little and my brother in law point out that I rush, and I need to pronounce my words clearly…as a upcoming artist, and let’s say I’m starting from scratch again, what are the things I need to work on first till end? Cause I can’t scat like you 😕 I recorded myself and yeah I need work which kinda Saddens me cause I’ve been doing this for 2 years now, and I really wanna make it happen I don’t wanna give up 😔
