Ya I keep watching the sub count expecting them to explode because this is easy 1 of my favorite channels I can't wait for the shop move to be done and actually get to see the rebuild. And it has a good bit of humor
I'll be up at Tin Soldier this weekend to pick up my rear end. I cant WAIT to touch Dave's grand national. It is by far my favorite racecar ever built.
Firstly want to say love the transparency that blokes like y'all that are big in the street/np world share with us viewers from around the world... much appreciated. Not sure if anyone from aus has commented about it almost correct with the floater limits for aus, but 2022/2023 andra regs (australian national drag racing association), says "Full floating hubs are required in all power added cars that have a known performance of 7.50 (1/4 mile) / 4.90 (1/8 mile) or quicker, except for vehicles weighing 2500 lbs, or less, that alternatively are permitted to use aftermarket 40-spline two-piece axles. Refer to Class Regulations".
Awesome stuff im excited for the Firebird and the Kcmaxx team 2024, Also Tin Soldiers is top of the line i live near Cincinnati so i hope to do some business with them in future 💯✌️
Great vid. Great shop. Both u guys good men. Competitive but help each other. Can't wait to c new car. Tin Soldier Racing really growing. Great for sport. Been watching them since SRC introduced them in their vid. Thx. Stay warm and be safe on return home. 👍
Man I really enjoy these videos it's so funny to hear someone say 8.50 really aren't that fast and I get it in the race car world its not but to average person that's fast
Being from the dirt world my self and knowing what happens when a non floater axle breaks I just scratch my head seeing all the fast expensive drag cars without floaters in them
34:20 floater rear ends are also a rule in NHRA and that’s why you don’t see no prep races ,and I don’t mean the big show, sponsored by them ,when big chief had the crow mod he had to run one to race in those races, they are pretty expensive and that’s why u don’t see them in the budget classes yet but can u really put a price on safety
NO PAINT on our race cars all our suspension parts are not painted and it did get old keeping up on the scotch brite. Try this, floor wax [mop and glow] wipe a few coats on a piece of pipe and leave it outside, we wipe our entire cars down with a rag with about three coats our chassis also are not painted, it looks clear it is tough, I use commercial floor wax by it by the gallon [affordable] I now use it on the shop floor it seals and shines and is easy to fix no more epoxy. Just a Thought.
Holy shit they really gutted charlie😂 Have to like the fact that Ryan is not trying to get parts free because how well he is known in racing, like everyone seems to do these days
They said they had two options cut up the real charlie and make the videos doing it or build a clone in secret with everything that needed done to the car done to it and switch them out without saying anything and considered both and went with the being up front about it option
Could you imagine if Ryan had the support and backing that some of these ass hats have? There is already damn near $1mil cars that want to see no parts of thos man.
Just a couple humble dudes at the top of their game! Love to see it.

Coat the rear end with Blaster surface shield. Way better than wd40.
Jasons not far off, down here in Australia its 7.50 1/4 mile or faster you need to have floating rear axles.
Id love to go up and see this place!!!

Built by Hillbillies
My Granny was an Arkansas gal and she used to call us (raised in the Ozarks of Missouri) "Hill Williams" and she was proud of it.
