Yeah exactly, they remind me a bit of Stray Kids and ATEEZ and the like, but still have a very unique feel to them
Seung Eon have said before in boys planet that he REALLY wants to try the darker or more hiphop vibes type of concept just like what Trouble is so I'm glad he finally had the chance to do so. He said that was actually more of his style but his image in boys planet wasn't like that.
I didn't watch Boys Planet so for me EVNNE came out of absolutely nowhere, but Target: ME is one of my fave albums of this year. This song grabbed me by the throat on first listening and the rest of the album is just as good. I know this is just a temporary group but I don't want it to be!!! I want them to keep making albums forever!
Also, Seungeon's voice has the same crystal-clear, cutting quality as Xdinary Heroes' Jungsu's, which I adore.

Update after their reaction of the choreo : pd said that the mv was a 10/10 they would give it a 11/10 but the mv did not do the choreo justice
And they would be right. I was already gagged when I saw the mv but I was clean bamboozled when I saw the dance. Insane how we didn't even get a performance version.
REALL because they literally went viral for the performance and how insanely powerful and syncronized it was (the suit dance performance literally has more views than the MV)

It may be loud but it's what I needed after ZB1's debut, I needed something loud, powerful and gritty and I somehow knew Keita and Hanbin could deliver that and this group damn well did
1:20 "when will the next boys planet group debut" well One Pact is debuting in 2 days so.... That group has 5 members, 4 of which were on boys planet, and the 5th being Tag who was in Ciipher (where Keita also was from). Tag was actually one of the trainees that was withdrawn from the show before it even aired or recorded anything so he did know some of the members already from the few moments they met before filming started which is probably why he was included in the lineup
The one pact members include: Jay, Jongwoo, Yedam, Seongmin, and Tag. Please also check them out once they debut in 2 days!!

They shot everything in Korea ! As for Mun Junghyun he was a child actor I guess thats why he is really good at acting in the performances !
As for the song/concept Hanbin actually wanted to do a refreshing concept but he killed it despite not wanting to do a concept like this at first. As for Seungeon surprisingly he said he was glad to show a new side of himself in this concept and I really agree with you his voice goes so well with the song !!
I really recommend checking the EP as Yunseo, Lee Jeonghyeon and Keita took part in the lyrics writing too and the songs are really good. Seungeon and Keita already told us they are trying to produce songs together for the next album, all members said they are really interested in the production aspect so stay tuned for the next album !

The album is so good, my favorite other than the title track is 'role model', 'jukebox' and 'your text'.
i thought i would absolutly hate this but i promised myself to support keita and park hanbin. but man it grew on me FAST. even tho im pissed at wakeone for kicking out the foreign trainees + minseok im still so happy for the rest of the boys
also i just wanna shout out jihoo. like holy shit he can RAP. highly recommend the bsides bcs he goes crazy
I was honestly also underwhelmed by this song but then I saw a performance and I was like HOLY FCK I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS. The mv is great but the choreo is truly what does this song justice.

Wait!!! Did you mention Guvin holdinga softness in you heart, during Boy's Planet 10:53 ? I didnt understand the Guvin appeal until I met him at KCONLA23 ZB1 Meet and Greet!!! His warmth was so apparent in person, his genuine smile and the kindness in his eyes!! He completely shook me! I'm still not recovered. My favorite moment was him signing 🤟 back to me🥰🤗.
