This is a really good raft! I am building a coop raft, and thanks to the renovation update, I have almost fininshed the coolest hotel that has a floor for the restaurant , library, lounge, balcony and so on, and a floor with nice hotel rooms for every coop member, even though its just me and one friend that stay active the most. I wish I could show it to y'all
Excellent presentation! I love your organization skills. I literally was thinking to myself while watching was that I’m getting a briefing as a crew member. If I ever end up stranded on a raft I would want to be on your crew 😅
when i started i made a 5000 foundation raft, 3 floors and 50 engines because the stupid me back then did not know that 6 works for any size after 600 foundations, unfortunately had to delete the world because the world got too laggy and game kept crashing when i played there :') genuinely fun to have large raft, my idea was the titanic, love your raft, your design is so intricate and great, learned alot from it and will do a better one when i play again
It is possible to access the anchor from the second floor through a hole in the floor. My anchor is just below my piloting position. Also, you can fill your water bottles directly from the electric water purifiers and the water tanks. The old purifiers aren’t necessary.

Omg this is amazing! What a beautiful Raft, I love it! I literally sat here like 😯 throughout the whole video 😅 I love this Game so much, and spent over 150 hours in it. But I never had a Raft this beautiful! ❤️
Awesome raft! I would LOVE to see it updated with the newer structure looks, decorations and and other adjustments you might have made, if you did any, to it since you gave us the tour back in March. What are the dimensions? I'm debating on performing a rework on our raft and the general idea of yours is giving inspiration. Thank you for sharing it with us!!
This raft is simply amazing! I doubt it took you hours, I couldn’t do this in ages ngl. Also, now that they added it in the update, you should consider adding engine controls near the steering wheel - but I guess you already did. Nonetheless amazing job! Im jealous now xD
I would love for the devs to implement some resource hungry late game items. It seems like a lot of the material is wasted. Also I would absolutely be glad to have a super scarecrow that doesn't break.
Not going to lie, this made my day, so thank you Amanda! Encouragement is a terribly rare thing to come by (for anyone), so I don't take your comment for granted. Thanks again, and godspeed
I just started playing Raft and im shocked to see your Video because if i see what u have build, wow. Just wow. Idk if i ever can make a Raft like this :D But thanks for this Video. It helps me a lot
It might not be the craziest raft ever built - but it is for sure one of the best organized and functional ones I ever saw! Everything is adjusted to everything else for maximum efficiency - and the raft still looks amazing! Especially liking the recipes being in alphabetical order - you're my kind of gamer! :) Also a very well edited video and great commentary! Earned you a well-deserved sub. Keep up the great work!
In a 3x3 square you can fit 7 beehives and 4 small crop plots place 1 beehive back center with two beehives flanking it then place a 2x2 grid of small crop plots in front of it so the short edges run along the 3 beehives then on the left and right place 2 more on each side
Awesome video for late game. I find it very hard to keep being motivated after the story. Only thing I lack at this point is titanium for larger storages. At this point it is probably also worth throwing out the 3 basic materials, since I have around 20 regular chests of it. Only other thing I can think of is to completely rebuild the raft, since it's quite a mess with adding things every time you get something new. But then again maybe that's the beauty of it as well
Absolutely incredible raft! One of the best I’ve ever seen, and maybe actually the best one I’ve seen. I’m going to do my best at trying to rebuild this as my raft, making a few modifications to it to make it my own once it’s built. This gunna take a while…
You can also place pipes under sprinklers, battery chargers and fuel tanks and they'll be filled up same as if they were connected to their base ports. Doesn't look connected but they will be. It also looks like an ugly spaghetti pipe mess, so it might not be the best idea.
this is the video that motivated me to turn my small raft into an actual ship....not as big as U.S.S Overkill, but still a decent size kinda looks like a pirate ship without the massive sails lol took me a while getting enough scrap for nails was the biggest issue i had xD
Bro?! You made this behemoth, which must have taken MONTHS, and you don't have a Raft series on your Channel?!? I would have subscribed just to watch you build this thing!! I KNOW i'm not the only one upon seeing this, that went to your page looking for a series on your channel that you SHOULD have with your skill level! Missing out on Subs Havoc. This could be multiple series for you with the end game being this with various other designs that you think of. I would definitely watch it each series.
Thank you! It took 100 hours probably over the course of a month or so. I do have another video or two about RAFT, but no series. I think a lot of people might be interested in how I built it, but it took 100 hours of constant grinding and upgrading the raft as I went along - which isn't too fun for people to watch. Slow progression and it wouldn't be a straightforward guide. I just kind of used my imagination and available resources to keep adding to it Thanks again for the supportive comment!
In this game, you are no longer just a guy on a raft. If a guy on a raft reaches civilization, he would start disembarking and running towards the people. If you were to reach civilization in this thing, people from the cities would start running towards you, shouting "take me with you!"
Thank you for stating that we will be seeing end game blueprints as I would have been but hurt from spoilers haha. I'll like the vid and make sure to watch when I finish my playthrough
I just found this video the other day and this might be the third time I'm rewatching it. I've uninstalled Raft since I finished the 2nd chapter but this is seriously inspiring me to try and get really creative with it. I hope it's ok to use the USS Overkill as inspiration

@@HavocGamingChannel Goodness, thank you so much! I didn't actually expect that you'd watch it all asfhfmmsk😭 all the best to you and your channel, and if you decide to come back to Raft as well 💕💖
Not sure if you knew this. An engine is needed for every 100 foundations up to 6. 6 engines will push any size raft, so more than that is not necessary. And if you want to reach the anchor from your steering, you can place it under it off to the side with a triangle hole to reach it from above.
Yeah, the physics is a little strange. You can increase raft speed by operating more engines than necessary as well, I think up to 1.5x if I remember correctly. And good call about reaching the anchor from above through a triangle hole, I haven't tested that, but it sounds plausible, so I'll take your word for it!
ive saved this vid for my future as i just bought the game last week when it was on sale ya im cheap lol dont have a quarter of the stuff u do so i have a lot to look forward to from the looks of your raft
@@MikeOck88 got all my pipes layed with the floor trick so there are none running inside my arc type build for my first go around. playing on peaceful to learn all the stuff. have finished the story am now just crusing looking for titanium might grow this game a bit more but very soon starting a normal round. that should add many hours to it having to fight the bad stuff.
You can place pipes through the floors, lay down all your pipes without the floor piece then get on the upper section delete the one pipe that is closest to the floor coming up, add a floor with the half floor tiles then add your pipe on top of those half floor tiles.
dude this boat is awesome :D i had kind of similar ideas but then was too lazy to do, so mine is way smaller xD always think bing! nice video man, what a cool raft :) i really like that game!
i used a few mods like item spawner but i recreated this raft using this video as a guide with the renovation update. Though i am still in the beginning of the game so the decorations and other functional stuff will be added later but the basic overall raft looks sweet. Good job on this raft brother i hope you come up with other sweet designs
I made raft where I needed exactly 6 engines (had around 550 foundations). But then I figured that It is maybe useless and demanding for maintanance. And here is why. When you have like 99 foundations, only one engine is needed to get almost max speed (if you want to be 25% faster, you can make two engines and 200 foundations. So if you stay at 99 foundations (with 1 engine = 2 speed) and make like 6 or more floors to spread your base upwards for all stuff needed...the result is that you dont need to make so much farms, biofuels, stock and so on. And the maintanance is 10 times easier. You just need to feed one engine instead of 6.
Awesome raft, would love to see it now with the new update which includes a lot of great tec and items to make your raft looks so much better and be more streamlined
Though it would be a bit of work (understatement), I wonder how the "Overkill" would look with a renovation update 'make-over' (went live June 21)? If/when I get into the game, a smaller Hybrid version of the "Overkill" & Clawson Bourne Gaming's Raft Is my plan... though most likely trialed out in Creative mode first...
I, through his tour video... painstakingly paused every few moments and counted each segment. Long story short... i recreated his raft using the renovation update though i have not put all his decorations out as i anchored in the beginning of the game and just modded in the materials i needed to build the basic structure and it does look sweeeeet i must say. I love this raft its very cool
@@HavocGamingChannel I don't doubt it that at all, in fact that is why I will do research & have a plan (as best I can) - after I buy the game. As another channel pointed out that they trialed designs of what they wanted in Creative before building in actual game, seems like advice I may take.
@@michaelharr9915 On that I have no doubt, though there are 2 things I would've critiqued though didn't - because everyone is entitled to their own style. I will give them here, as they're simple logic - though one is more a stylized opinion than the other on the functions of the Raft. 1 - Wasted Potential: A good number of the foundations on the inside could be collection nets, which would have 2 benefits. First is that more salvage would be gathered, and second would be there would be less foundations needing to be pushed by the engines (less engines needed, less biofuel/planks consumed for moving). 2 - High Ceiling; As I said, one is more a stylized opinion. Another option to cover with would have been the roof/platform/roof/platform pattern, but this is preference POV.
No need for the glass water purifiers when you have the electrical ones. You can fill your bottles directly from the tanks and it will refill itself. It sucks to keep refilling those constantly manually when you don't have to 😊
@@HavocGamingChannel No, the ones you connect directly to the ocean that provides water to your crops (the vacuum cleaner pumps). You can fill your bottles by clicking on the water tanks (or the tank on the pump itself) that you already have on your raft 😁 You should also try to use eggs as biofuel (If you aren't already) as it fills it up very fast. Also, good job with the raft. Looks very cool 🤩
I was going to say that, after getting the electric purifiers you realize that refilling the glass purifers is such a pain in the ass, didn't know why he kept using them.
Cool build. One thing I'd change, would be that I'd replace as much of the inner foundations to nets as possible. If only to reduce the number of foundations so you wouldn't need so many engines to move around. Would save a ton on bio-fuel. I wonder if it'd be possible to have such a huge raft run on less then 200 foundations? (2 engine max speed requirement)
She's a beauty. I did have a few questions, though: Why bother with the advanced water filters when you can just top your bottles off directly from a water tank spigot? And second: have you tried using eggs to supply your biofuel refineries? Your watermelon garden is lovely, but I have to think adding a few more chickens would be more efficient in terms of space and effort.
Good questions! I didn't know about the water tank at first. One hundred hours in, and I seemed to have missed that memo. As far as the eggs VS watermelons... I think it takes less time to create a bunch of biofuel with watermelons. It only take 1.5 watermelons to fill a biofuel reactor and it takes more like 10 eggs, so you don't spend as much time filling up the biofuel reactors as well.
Are you able to do a full in-depth tutorial on how to build all this? Or has this been done already? I'd love to use this for my coop world with my friend and I. Or if you could at least give me the bottom dimensions for the bottom of the raft. Nice video overall!
Thank you ! Started the game yesterday with a friend. So we are actually right at the start. And after a few hours settling down and get out life support running, we were wondering if there is much to come in later stages of the game. This is where your Video really hit the point. The USS looks awesome and there's so much to do for us. Well done! Thanks for your insights and the nice way you presented it. That's how i like my gameplay videos. Nice to watch and fun to listen. keep it up! This was my first Raft Video and I probably will watch more of your stuff. Beginner Questions: So i still didn't get the technology system. To get all that stuff ( electric Purifier for example) i need to find the blueprints? If so, are there special blueprint you can only get from specific sources (Boss Monster for example)? What's the best way to get blueprints ? Especially im interested in finding the blueprints for the steering wheel, the engine and of cause the stronger raft parts to avoid the shark attacking our raft.
Thanks Pan Dur! You'll get the blueprints while exploring the story islands. Story islands are special islands you navigate to in order to advance the story. It is possible to miss blueprints, so make sure to look around thoroughly! You could also look up a walkthrough or guide, but you should be able to see the blueprints without a problem. Good this answer helps, and thanks again!

So now nothing spawns on the side of my raft if i drift side ways with my long side facing forward :( :( :(

i know this is an old video, and the base probably doenst look nothing like this anymore but, in your animal farm you have 3 4x3 grass plots, totaliing a 12x3 grass area, you didnt need 6 sprinklers, just 4 of them, your raft looks awesome, props for the time dedicated in building it
This is a really good raft! I am building a coop raft, and thanks to the renovation update, I have almost fininshed the coolest hotel that has a floor for the restaurant , library, lounge, balcony and so on, and a floor with nice hotel rooms for every coop member, even though its just me and one friend that stay active the most. I wish I could show it to y'all
And btw what you did without the update is absolutely amazing.
Dude
This is amazing! The efficiency of your layout is mind-blowing. Lots of helpful tips too!
love this raft thought my game was over till the next chapter. You have proved me wrong. I have only just begun
Thank you! Have fun
I'd love to see "Lets Game It Out" make something like this lol.
Very cool man, I didn't even know all of this was possible. I'd like to try this game
This is just amazing! Really well done! I can tell you did alot of work to come to that point! You earnd yourself a new Sub! Good job man!
Thank you so much! My editing skills are finally getting pretty good, lol
It is possible to access the anchor from the second floor through a hole in the floor. My anchor is just below my piloting position.
Also, you can fill your water bottles directly from the electric water purifiers and the water tanks. The old purifiers aren’t necessary.
Awesome, just fantastic! I've never seen anything like this! My raft is still one level. Shoot I don't even have a sail yet!!! Have you thought about sharing this ship/raft? I'd love to download and play a few hours with this one! Have a great weekend - Be safe and take care😎
Omg this is amazing! What a beautiful Raft, I love it! I literally sat here like 😯 throughout the whole video 😅
I love this Game so much, and spent over 150 hours in it. But I never had a Raft this beautiful! ❤️
this is the best raft build ive ever seen impresive
Thank you!
We dont call it raft around here
I second this! This is AMAZING, and I’d like to know how to build it myself!
Overall outer edge if 24 x 44. Watching the video repeatedly will help fill in the details.
This gave me inspiration for my raft. Engine/ purifiers on the first floor away from view
That's so awesome!! Thank you very much for the tips :D
I usually don't leave comments, but you need more recognition
Not going to lie, this made my day, so thank you Amanda! Encouragement is a terribly rare thing to come by (for anyone), so I don't take your comment for granted. Thanks again, and godspeed
Thats a good looking freaking raft, i love it. Will definitely inspire my new game play
Also a very well edited video and great commentary! Earned you a well-deserved sub. Keep up the great work!
In a 3x3 square you can fit 7 beehives and 4 small crop plots
place 1 beehive back center with two beehives flanking it
then place a 2x2 grid of small crop plots in front of it so the short edges run along the 3 beehives
then on the left and right place 2 more on each side
Awesome video for late game. I find it very hard to keep being motivated after the story. Only thing I lack at this point is titanium for larger storages. At this point it is probably also worth throwing out the 3 basic materials, since I have around 20 regular chests of it. Only other thing I can think of is to completely rebuild the raft, since it's quite a mess with adding things every time you get something new. But then again maybe that's the beauty of it as well
Why would you throw out the basic materials? That's how you do everything in this game, including get Titanium.
Absolutely incredible raft! One of the best I’ve ever seen, and maybe actually the best one I’ve seen. I’m going to do my best at trying to rebuild this as my raft, making a few modifications to it to make it my own once it’s built. This gunna take a while…
I'm gonna sub just because of the sheer dedication and massive size of this raft... and I can't even play the game because I'm on Mac xD
Thank you! (And get a PC 😉)
Best raft hands down! 🔥
Thank you! Took a lot of grinding
Quick tip......foundation armor protects 2 slots on either side so count 4 tiles in between and you can save considerable resources.
Also great video, well explained! And To the point and your voice is nice
You can also place pipes under sprinklers, battery chargers and fuel tanks and they'll be filled up same as if they were connected to their base ports. Doesn't look connected but they will be. It also looks like an ugly spaghetti pipe mess, so it might not be the best idea.
I think your raft is godly! Also I love raft so much!
I just started playing the game and I love it so much.
dude your raft is the best i only recently got thegame but im 100% goning to make this raft. keep up the awsome work
this is the video that motivated me to turn my small raft into an actual ship....not as big as U.S.S Overkill, but still a decent size kinda looks like a pirate ship without the massive sails lol took me a while getting enough scrap for nails was the biggest issue i had xD
I just kind of used my imagination and available resources to keep adding to it
Thanks again for the supportive comment!
This was awesome!! Great process and design
That’s an amazing raft! Good job
Thank you!
In this game, you are no longer just a guy on a raft. If a guy on a raft reaches civilization, he would start disembarking and running towards the people. If you were to reach civilization in this thing, people from the cities would start running towards you, shouting "take me with you!"
I like it, it is hard to have both form and function on survival games :) glad to know that the metal thing prevent sharks fully.
Thank you for stating that we will be seeing end game blueprints as I would have been but hurt from spoilers haha. I'll like the vid and make sure to watch when I finish my playthrough
You should make a tutorial about build a raft like that, it's awesome, great job!
I just found this video the other day and this might be the third time I'm rewatching it. I've uninstalled Raft since I finished the 2nd chapter but this is seriously inspiring me to try and get really creative with it. I hope it's ok to use the USS Overkill as inspiration
You picked a good time to get back into it, the next update is due this year.
Thank you very much for the super nice compliment! Have fun
@@HavocGamingChannel Hello hello! I know that this comment is pretty dang old but, I just wanted to let you know that my redesign of my raft (that is now heavily inspired by The Overkill) is now done. There's a video on my channel, if you ever want to see it, but you don't have to. Just wanted to let you know that having your raft inspire me to go back to the game and really see how much I could do meant a lot. Thanks again for the wonderful content!
@@bayobayo I watched your whole video, great job and awesome raft! Really good editing and narration as well.
@@HavocGamingChannel yes but only up to 6. I use the anchor trick and it comes in handy. I picked that trick up from someone on the raft discord.
ive saved this vid for my future as i just bought the game last week when it was on sale ya im cheap lol dont have a quarter of the stuff u do so i have a lot to look forward to from the looks of your raft
Nice! Hopefully it will be a valuable reference
how'd it go
@@MikeOck88 got all my pipes layed with the floor trick so there are none running inside my arc type build for my first go around. playing on peaceful to learn all the stuff. have finished the story am now just crusing looking for titanium might grow this game a bit more but very soon starting a normal round. that should add many hours to it having to fight the bad stuff.
This raft is absolutely beautiful! I was able to get some good inspiration out of it.
Excellent and thank you!
Would be cool to see an update to this raft after the newest version. Also for biofuels you can use animal heads for better efficiency than fruit!
This was incredible
I hope in a good way! Lol
@@HavocGamingChannel best video I've found to understand certain building mechanics and efficiency set ups. Keep up the great work!
Fenomenal raft, dude! I love it
Thank you!
You can place pipes through the floors, lay down all your pipes without the floor piece then get on the upper section delete the one pipe that is closest to the floor coming up, add a floor with the half floor tiles then add your pipe on top of those half floor tiles.
Wow What A Beauty Of Your Ship
This is insane. Amazing Job bro
I really like your setup. Thank you for sharing
dude this boat is awesome :D
i had kind of similar ideas but then was too lazy to do, so mine is way smaller xD
always think bing!
nice video man, what a cool raft :)
i really like that game!
hey i really like using milk to create biofuel instead of watermelons, i have 20 goats for 10 refiners, and it works fine. Nice raft tho!
EGGS EGGS EGGS
well laid out and i got some good info from your video thank you !!!
i used a few mods like item spawner but i recreated this raft using this video as a guide with the renovation update. Though i am still in the beginning of the game so the decorations and other functional stuff will be added later but the basic overall raft looks sweet. Good job on this raft brother i hope you come up with other sweet designs
That's one of the nicest compliments I've ever received. Thank you!
Can you recommend an item spawner mod you use?
That's a fine raft you've build yourself sir =)
Really good and enjoyed the tour and effort
Floor building tip, if you use big pillers and build triangle floors you can erase the piller and have the floor floating. Have fun!
so u wont see many pillars on the first floor?
@@joshuavictor4593 none
@@joshuavictor4593 only if you want them there
@@Ventrixentity oh goshhh.. just tried it and it's work.. thanks !
Great video and even better tips! My raft is small as I only just got to the end of the game. However we've used the same or similar ideas! 👍
Wow. This thing is beautiful!
it's worth noting to you can fill bottles from the water tanks so once you have them you don't need the little ones anymore
Put the advanced water purifiers near your sprinkler so it fills up near it too.
Nooo waaaay! That's a great tip
Awesome raft, would love to see it now with the new update which includes a lot of great tec and items to make your raft looks so much better and be more streamlined
Nice raft setup layout!
Thanks Joe! I appreciate that
Though it would be a bit of work (understatement), I wonder how the "Overkill" would look with a renovation update 'make-over' (went live June 21)?
If/when I get into the game, a smaller Hybrid version of the "Overkill" & Clawson Bourne Gaming's Raft Is my plan... though most likely trialed out in Creative mode first...
Yeah, a large raft takes a lot of grinding for sure!
It sucks to keep refilling those constantly manually when you don't have to 😊
Whhhaaaaat? Is that a new structure? I don't think that was available to me when I built this raft
Raft is such an amazing & cozy game!!!
Agreed!
4:43 u can catch ur raft while engines is on if u jump while u swim
just started playing this game, and it's very addictive. Can't wait to get a battery charger cause I'm blowing through batteries like crazy
This is incredibly late, but do know that the normal storage chests, the wooden ones, can be placed on walls and hold 2x more than the large ones.
King
@@HavocGamingChannel Well, she's a beautiful vessel in any case. Hard to argue with results. Great work.
Nice raft, thanks for the tips
Thank you, have fun!
I really like the shape. It gives me the feeling of an ark. Wish I knew the measurements to build a clone.
In regards to your Scrap Metal Situation. I like to go back and forth between Vasagatan and Random directions, with Vasagatan as my return point. The ship is full of fast to get Scrap Metal :)
Edit: Just spent 30hours making a bigger raft ( off the side if my original so i could destroy it later and use my new raft), Only to find out that the Game Spawns Debris based on the orginal 2x2 Raft you start on. So now nothing spawns on the side of my raft if i drift side ways with my long side facing forward :( :( :(
I just watched your video, this work and outcome deserves a like and subscribe! Your raft is absolutely amazing my dude! I know this may be a long shot but would you ever consider sharing your save file of this? I would love to just hang out on this raft from time to time and study it from a closer look to see if I can recreate it on my own or make something similar.
