Absolutely lovely to see Lewis the apprentice. He would be a lucky little boy to learn from one of the greats in the knife making world . The knives are beautiful. I am blown away at how long it takes to make a knife and sheath of this quality. So much involved in the process. I’m honoured to have met the second love of your life. Enjoy my friend. Thanks for sharing. Tony.
Beautiful knives Sandy 🙌 And I think Lewis would be very proud to be your Apprentice 👍Your very lucky Sandy to have a Grandchild I think my 2 Daughters are not in a hurry to bless me with the little Apron 😉👌
I never thought I would ever be a Gandad Martin, he is a bonny boy and is taking a lot of interest in the world around him so hopefully he will be a clever lad
Will Jack i have know idea how I missed then when first posted but I did congratulation to you and the entire family it is most definitely a special time in your lives . Take care cant wait to see you fit the infinite seat to your bike . Happy Trails
Excellent work by you and your daughter. I do hope you find someone to pass on your knowledge to. We can do all sorts of things in this world. Making things that work and last, give a great deal of satisfaction to both the consumer and the maker.
Bababababbaaaaaaa!! I was told off by my grandson because I’m not staying over tonight and I need to get rid of them dinosaurs that outside by The front door. I hope you come to the rescue with grandads poking stick of FREEEEEEDOM! X
Blimey Grandad, no wonder i was sick, bouncing me around, ive only just had my tea! Great Stuff Sandy, can see you having some great adventures with the little fella.
What are Grandads for if not to shake the grandkids up straight after they have been fed and incur the wrath of the parents? 😂 Lovely to see the bond between you and Lewis and the joy he is clearly bringing you. 👍🏻
That was nice to see little Lewis! You are looking like a proud Grandfather!! Love the knives as always, but Lewis stole the show this time :) Stay safe and healthy!
Bless little Lewis, glorious dear soul. I wonder what kind of world he will grow up into... but lets not go there haha. All we can do is lead the way, and love them with all our heart. How lovely and kind of you to give his Mummy a break.
Future apprentice...now that really would be something special wouldn't it. Some nice knives there Sandy...something you wouldn't think about unless you are a knife builder...carbon steel embedded on the belts and I'm guessing vice versa
What a lovely video. I reckon you've got someone to continue your legacy there, in which ever way he takes. No doubt you will be a great influencer to him as he develops.
Congratulations - 7 weeks! WOW. I hope you have a fantastic time with your new grandson! He is sooooo cute and he will make a great apprentice! I can feel your pride!
They're all beautiful knives, Sandy, but I think the stabilised elm looks particularly good. Lewis is coming along nicely - won't be too long before he's out enjoying nature with you.
Hello. If I may ask, how do you heat treat SF 100? It is very similar to Sandvik 14x28N but factory heat treat recommendations are quite different. Sandvik soak time 6 min for 3mm but SF100 30 min....
Phil, If you Google "Jacklore prices" you can see the price there. The truth is the knives take ma an inordinate amount of time to build and i don't build many, sometimes just a couple per week. Generally get snapped up real quick.
Congratulations Grandpa 🎉 Lewis is a very handsome boy 👍
Can’t wait to see you and Lewis doing an overnight camping adventure 😊
AWSOME KNIVES AND AWSOME GRANDSON!!👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌

Hi Sandy, can you tell me how much you sell the stainless steel wasps for and do you make any and then sell them rather than make to order. Thanks
