- Another showcase of the sheer amount of talent present in the latest A State of Sugar compilation album, this collab full of both instrumental and vocal awesomeness has also quite a lot of feelings and backstory behind it!
You may have heard about it from Twitter or behind-the-scenes videos, but Tw3Lv3's story and path as a musician in the community is quite moving. She feels a lot of gratitude toward her friends and the people who helped her getting more exposure in the community, and who showed her that she should continue making music and doing what she loves to do. And it even helped her against depression! Wrapped in our undying love, the dedicated musician decided to make a song to express those feelings toward friends and also the whole community, for the new A State of Sugar compilation album! Gathering the help of Drummershy for an epic drums performance, and of Koa and MC-Arch for top-notch vocals! And that is "One Small Thing" that you are listening to now! Indubitably a lot of heart has been poured into the song, and I can certainly relate to wanting to express gratitude and love to the community in all the ways I can. And I just know the kind of love-filled songs that I would make myself if I was a musician! I'd gladly quote the full backstory and explanation of the meanings behind this track that Tw3Lv3 gave me, but it's in French, so... just tell me if you want a translation and I'll see what I can do! Or, you could just ask Tw3Lv3! I can vouch for the length and force of it, and it's really something to make you melt. Go send warm hugs to her everypony! I'd like to say something here. This song means a lot to me and is there to thanks a certain someone.. I've started to make music in 2018 and wanted to stop after my first song but Thanks to makenshi i'm here.. "One Small Thing" like a small article on EqD can make big thing.. So thanks Makenshi.. Thanks a lot for everything you do in this fandom, thanks for being a great person and a great friend.. This song is also my way to thanks this fandom who helped me during the really hard times.. I've made a bunch of good friend in such a small amount of time and yeh.. I'm super emotive while typing this so it might be a mess but yeh. Thanks to Lorris aka Power Note who taught me everything i know now. Thanks to Equinity, who released one of my first big track (Sunrise ft Doodled.) a year ago on their first album. You should check em out if you haven't yet. Thanks to Jalmaan and Nevermourn who helped me with the mastering in this. Also big shout out to Drummershy, Koa and MC-Arch. Awesome, here it is. My most favorite song of an awesome album full of awesome music. Played it already a 1000 times, also requested it at Bolt's show and can't stop listening to it. Looping it now in YT. One small thing can really make a difference and be the start of something big. If I didn't accidently saw that one small video on YT that made me discover this community a few years ago I wouldn't be here enjoing all this awesome music, awesome album release party's, awesome DJ live sets and all the other awesome events we have here

Insanely proud of how fast Tw3Lv3 has grown from some new face I've heard of one and a half years ago to now collabing with some big guns in horse music with several big tunes on Cider Party, a p@d appearance and an own label (VibePoniez) under her belt. Been a crazy ride to watch and it just doesn't seem to slow down anytime soon. As for this tune, if there was a Best Of 2020 compilation in this fandom, excluding this would be an absolute crime, you can tell this is a very personal and meaningful track, the instrumental almost rivals some of the bigger House producers in the fandom (House isn't even a main genre of Tw3!), Koa and Arch both killed it on their vocal performances, and Drummershy's solo makes for a great bridge into the finale of the track. Frickin fantastic

It must take alot of time and talent and chemistry to make a track like this happen. The who theme to this track is first relatable! Tw3lve, I feel ya. Only took One small thing to write an article and Makenshi to see it for doors to open up for me. The melody is fantastic. The composition how everything blends together is wonderful!
The duo of Koa and My Boi MC-Arch and the and the stories from them in those lyrics. Wow I absolutely adore the back and forth between those two.
Drummershy pure fire on your drums and it just make this song more powerfull with that solo of yours.
I got to say this is probably one of my favorite tracks to be released this year..wow it so good.
